I've started watching it again...I'm on season 4... Whatever happened to "Ripper" the spin-off.

Yes, I'm missing Buffy. But not nearly as much as I'm missing Giles and Wes.

Ripper... Well, officially, never say die. Unofficially... don't hold your breath. If Torchwood does really well, the BBC might realise that there's a market for more adulty sci-fi. Joss has moved on, though.

I know...its a shame...but they bought Doctor Who back...so there is hope...maybe when Joss is old and grey.

God, I haven't talked about Buffy on a forum since The Bronze! The official forum that closed about 5 years ago! Back then you were only allowed three threads a day!

Yes! I am really missing Buffy! And Spike and Angel. And Willow. Oh, for a few more episodes...sigh...
Mind you ,I have found some fictional consolation with the novel Blood Tears by Raven Dane. Her Dark Kind characters rock big time!

i miss the who buffyverse as well, i read somewhere that a comic of buffy is being released which is meant to be what the 8th season would have been. that may be good

I miss Buffy!!! They're showing reruns daily over here (Irl) but I only get to catch the Fri ones. They're on Season 5 now, it was The Body last week, so I reckon it'll be the second last ep this Fri and I'll miss The Gift by a day...if ya get me

aaaaaaah season 5 was mint!

it's on sky on all the time, and on a few different channels so we see it often but have the dvd's anyway so can watch it anytime, it's one of my top ten shows ever!

According to my SFX This months ( xmas 2007) in the contents page its says that Joss Weedon is making tv again - Ripper is on the cards , maybe the success of Torchwood in USA , has helped it get back on board.
Its doing the Ripper wishlist and requests from uk fans.

I just wish they'd do a Buffy feature film, but I don't suppose Sarah M G would want to?... sigh, never mind! If Ripper does come off, that will be ace!

Besides the actor who played JR Hartley in the ads, there was a real live JR Hartley was did TV programmes on Fly Fishing.

Me too... It lost its way in season 4 a bit but the last season rocked! 'Smile Time' was such a cool episode

I enjoyed season 4.

Particularly "Spin the Bottle".

Do you know i don't care how duff Angel got, at least he didn't go whiney as the Buffster did ,which tended to get on my wick at times (sorry, but I did like watching buffy tho btw)
