Buffy is my favourite TV show of all time, tied with Friends.
i have all the episodes and watch them over and over!!

Not really, I did like it when it was on, and it finished in good time, before they ran out of ideas.
Like Angel, I'm pleased they finished it in that way - unlike boring old "Charmed", which ran out of ideas by series 3, at best.

I am not exactly missing it, but when I watch old eps it does bring back certain memories....my housemate last night was watching it and I could Dawn shouting 'Buffy...' through my wall.

did it????????? how can you say such a thing when season 5 had such brilliant episodes as "you`re Welcome" and "Smile Time", to name but 2? The only ep I truly detested was the one based in Italy, where Angel & Spike saw "Buffy" dancing in a nightclub. Apparently though,I`m the only who didn`t like it.
******************************** John Smith: So what am I then? Nothing. I`m just a story.
Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.

I don't think I've seen series 4 OR 5 of Angel. Might have to rent them from uni library when I have time....

Nah I didn't like that ep either, it was a bit naff and cheese. Although it was great to see Andrew again. For me it was S4 where Angel lost its way a bit, but S5 was fantastic and I love the way it ends overall.. I won't spoil it but for you Dr Green, but the rest of you know what I mean. I felt like Buffy coul have still gone on for another couple of seasons, but I'm so sentimental about it that I'm perhaps a little bias!

I miss Buffy, was a great series but I think it ended at the right time. Season 4 was a bit pants though.

Riley was in seasons four and five. Both are better on re-watch than they seemed at the time.

Ah Thanks Mickey x I am thankful to buffy I watched series 1 to 3 whilst suffering from the black dog. But because of that I felt that I expected too much from 4 looking at this time of life *Momma of the A team thread.* ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥.. We beat together... i am loving getting a daily fix of the buffster at 4.00pm on FX channel. Also the new season 8 storylines (yes i know the tv series ended at season 7)in the comics are really good, it is a shame they will not be transferred to the screen
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Awh, I haven't bothered to read any of the S8 comics, but i have heard they're ace. Can you order back copies do you know?

Big cast reunion recently. You can find some people's reports over at LiveJournal. Joss, with Buffy, Oz, Spike, Xander, Dawn, Tara and Anya. Joss said he'd love to work with everybody again, and if he can get them all together, he'd love to make a film. There's some lovely pictures of the event about the place. Can't link to them, obviously, but they're worth hunting down. We've all seen James Marsters recently of course, but Oz and Tara in particular are both looking great.

Sarah Michelle Gellar turned up?! No way, she won't even be interviewed on the extras on the DVD boxsets! Seth Green always looks good Anyone ever seen Veronica Mars? I loved it when Charisma Carpenter and Alyson Hannigan have a scene together, it warmed my heart to see them sharing the same screen again

Not only turned up, but looking really happy in all the pictures.

Don't ask... ASH is still interested, Joss is still interested. So far, though, it's not got any further than that! Joss has his new "Dollhouse" project to worry about, and ASH is doing the Beeb's new family drama about King Arthur, so nothing's likely to happen in the near future anyway.

Doll House looks as though it's going to be AMAZING and with good ole Eliza Dushku is bound to be wicked cool Awwwh my sisters and I had a 'Buffy night' two nights ago where we each picked a favourite epsiode and watched them back to back with wine & curry, we watched 'Reptile Boy', 'Earshot' and 'Who are you?'... weird that we all picked ep's from the earlier seasons I think... All I could think throughout 'Earshot' was...: 'I miss Oz...'

Buffy is my all time favourite TV drama series, so I miss it in that sense. On the other hand, perhaps after 7 seasons the show had run its course, so probably best to leave on a high.
The real problem is finding something else to fill the gap. I like Heroes, Smallville and Dr Who, though none are quite upto Buffy standards, but I don't rate Lost or Torchwood at all. Outside the SciFi world, 24 is exciting if a little over the top, but the show I've enjoyed the most in recent years was the West Wing.
I've recently watched the Battlestar Gallactica pilot film, so I have high hopes that that will be something I can get my teeth into!
