I don't know if you'[ve ever seen Veronica Mars? But that's similar to Buffy in a lot of ways, epes the witty banter aspect. It's not sci fi though, so it depends what you're into really! Big Grin

I know Joss Whedon's always really rated that. I'd be interested to see it, but it's quite difficult to get hold of I think.

The boxsets are usually on amazon for about £15. Or you could dowmload it from the fairies, That's how I got hold of S3. It's well worth a look, espes if you're a Buffy fan, I reckon you'd enjoy it Big Grin

Buffy should come back.
Instead of going through the whole of Friends AGAIN, Four should do this with Buffy (wonder if it matters that it was originally aired on BBC?)

It only matters if the Beeb still has the rights to air it. I doubt they do after all this time, so it'd be open for anybody to negotiate. It's an old show now, though, and C4 has never treated cult shows well at the best of times.

Being a Virgin customer & not having had Sky for ages now, I'm not sure on this one... but Sky did used to show it during the day quite regularly, so maybe it's them that have to rights to it?... Confused

They always did. They were showing it back when the BBC were. Episodes always got their first showing on Sky. Then Sky customers could watch it again on the BBC, and actually see it in focus. Wink

ASH is still interested, Joss is still interested. So far, though, it's not got any further than that! Joss has his new "Dollhouse" project to worry about, and ASH is doing the Beeb's new family drama about King Arthur, so nothing's likely to happen in the near future anyway.

Oh right, hopefully things will get rolling soon ... I'm sure it's been quite a while since I actually read about it. I've not heard of Dollhouse, shall have to look it up on the net but I saw that ASH is in a new comedy on BBC ... doesn't look fantastic but I'll give it a bash.

Hee. Lovely clip of "Fear Itself" on Jonathon Ross's show just now. I haven't seen that episode in ages. Must be time to dig it out. Smile Tony Head nice to listen to, as ever. I do wish Jonathon Ross would shut up at times, though... Roll Eyes

Joss Wheden has written a new musical story.

Called Dr Horrible.

It`s up on the web.

It`s already crashing servers everywhere due to the very high demand.

It`s a little slow to start with, but it is an amusing tale.

as we`re allowed now to post web addies in posts on the forum here`s the link:

www.drhorrible.com

********************************
John Smith: So what am I then? Nothing. I`m just a story.

Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.

With no more Doctor Who to watch, I thought I might have a revisitation on the Buffy front. I watched Becoming last Saturday, an old favourite of mine that I haven't seen in some years. Just as good as ever. Smile
