OK so i have just finished watching three hours of this show, and im glad i have. I was going to give it a miss, due to not really enjoying the family drama genre but thought while i was eating my dinner "why not there is nothing else on tv" the pilot episode was an average start i thought, but the introduction of a good few sounding plot lines kept me watching the episode. In the end it was the fathers death at the end of episode one that has got me hooked. We could see it coming while he was talking to the kid at the side of the pool, but it was still dramatic when it happend.

Im loving the whole friction in relationships between the characters and there other halfs, i think its very good although i would have liked to see kitty, the guy she argues with (his name escapes me) and her fiance have a bit more of the amusing friction, but its one of those things that were obvious to see. I find it especially amusing how people find out about secrets so quickly Razz.

The whole business side to the story is also engaging. With the lawyer being the brother and there for having conflicting interests none of which he wants to side with! Also how they are going to salvage the company from the state they are in will be certainly interesting to watch.

Im not sure who my favourite character is but im enjoying the rebel brothers at the moment. just a complete off shot of every other sibling and a great addition to the "family"

All in all im enjoying this programme, i would have to, to watch 3 episodes straight. im tempted to acquire them elsewhere but i will wait, i never watch anything on tv anymore. Anyone watched any other shows like this that you would recommend, i think ive found something new i enjoy watching?

As I have written elsewhere in these forums, the show is utter tripe.

PS: Why can't Channel 4 open a new topic whenever a new show begins? Now I expect there will be several disparate Brothers and Sisters topics in different forums!

I really enjoyed Brothers and Sisters. I haven't got to grips with any of the characters' names as yet, but I really enjoyed it.

The female cast is fantastic. I'm worried with Sally Field being such a high roller, she too won't be in it for much longer....

But Calista Flockhart and Rachel Griffiths are great actresses.

What annoys me about C4 E4 and E4+1 is, I always seem to catch either one I've seen already, or two eps ahead. I'm gonna watch it of a Wed on C4 and hopefully it'll work out!!
