Marcus would never say that to Susan. Mainly because he would end up out an airlock if he did. Plus, I can't quite see Marcus saying it anyway. Calling someone a cow is very, VERY derogatory and rude (on par with bitch). I'm not sure what he would call her, so cutting it short would probably be best. Today, apart from my church's flowere festival, I spent the afternoon dressed as a Brownie for the division Brownie 90th birthday party. I have photos Ranger Elenopa, You can get more with a kind word and a two by four, than you can with just a kind word.

You have the photos so nobody can blackmail you with them later. Old uniform for the celebrations, or the new one? Woo, X-Men cartoon. So much better than the films. Cyclops with attitude, as opposed to the hopelessly wet disappointment from the movies. Cyclops was a gritty, tragic hero, not a schoolboy with a pout. You could always have Marcus mutter something in Minbari. That way, so long as it's never translated, he can be saying whatever you want him to be saying, and nobody can tell you that it's not like Marcus. A sort of " Fine!" snapped Marcus, and strode away muttering in Minbari, kind of scenario. ?? 1. Cartagia likes fruit because even a psychopath likes to be healthy. Like the Mayor in BtVS. 2. Garibaldi's bike was confiscated when he went all nasty in S4. He certainly didn't take it with him when he went to Mars. 3. Garibaldi was covered in clingfilm because Bester has his fetishes, just like anybody else who spends their whole day clad in tight black leather. 4. Lennier gets a hug because it's a family reunion. Even at an important ceremony, there's always going to be an annoying elderly aunt who wants a kiss. "Someone's got to fight the good fight."46664 - Play Music - Fight AIDS

Are we back?
The board seemed to be down yesterday evening.
I don't worry about blackmail, I've done too many mad things in public. The uniform was from the 1950's by the way.

Are you sure about garibaldi and his bike? That hyach didn't seem too happy....and lennier was pretty unresponsive to the hug he got... ranger considers that one of the extras thought Lennier was looking a little down in the mouth so they decided to give him a hug in the background to match the one in the foreground.
Marcus walks not away... it goes....hold on a mo:
no, I can't tell you out of context, basically its "Why are you leaving you ... you like it here!!"
"Look you..." he searched for a word with the right level of offensiveness but failed after consideration that he liked his face in its current format.
would of done it last night but as parents declared WW3 my creative vibe was all shot to hell.
I think the letters keep moving on my keyboard...I have to keep looking for letters... weird.
Whatbout the 80s brownie uniform? UGH!! Glad I was there for the not-quite-so-bad-as-eighties-but-still-pretty-awful 90's uniform. I remember the brownie 80th... darn youthfulness batman.
X-men movies aren't all bad....but I agree on Cyclops...where did he go for the middle hour of X2? heh, loved the cartoon. Really loved the moment in "Night of the sentinals" where Wolverine belts cy one... and people said cartoon violence wasnt real enough!.... And wheres Gambit in the movies!! I wants Gambit! Forget Iceman!
QOTD: "Gambit thinks if they be psycic, maybe they know already?"
he he! Gambit!....
Ranger considers doing her own league of extraordinary gentlemen.... Marcus, Jack O'neill, Nightcrawler... can't choose out of LOTR, One of the Dr whos... who would everyone else go for...oh Sharpe! Gotta have Sharpe!

I don't know about the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but for our production of the Merry Widow, we were all given dance cards. I had great fun filling mine up.
Marcus, Aragorn, Jack O'Neill, G'Kar, Angel, Captain Jack Sparrow, Van Helsing, Londo, Jean-Luc Picard.
Still had a few spaces unfortunately.

My League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen would be: - Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (the souped up stubbly street fighter version, with S5 magical abilities) - The Marquis de Carabas from Neverwhere - Avon from Blake's 7 - Marcus and possibly Lennier - Autolycus (tempted to say Ash from Evil Dead, but let's face, it - Auto has more brain in his little finger than dear old Ash ) - A Doctor. Can I have Three and Five? Agreeing on the X-Men cartoon, Ranger. It had real edge, and rightly so. The films were such a disappointment in comparison, though Professor X and Magneto were excellent. Why would you want Avon? He was self-centered and too ready to sell out the others to save his own butt. For me I'd have to have Marcus, Aragorn, Van Helsing.... Wait, you've seen this list before. I'd forgotten about Jack Sparrow... I might have Gandalf...Aragorn and Marcus'd be too confusing.
Jean-Luc...interesting choice. I might have worf... I love Worf, michael dorn always seemed so cool...Or Gowron... maybe Morn from DS9...hehe...no no no! Garak! Plain simple Garak the spy... im going back to my trekie days... oh dear. Anyway, Garak it is.
Never got into B7- too busy watching Dr Who... Jon Pertwee or Tom Baker...im torn!
Lorne from Angel...hell yeah! Didn't catch much angel... but Lorne was SO cool!
Either Klinger or Radar from M*A*S*H, if I had Klinger him and Scarlett O'hara would fight over outfits though. Oh yeah, Scarlett to help the gender balance.
Anyway, finished No Compromises... FINALLY! Just for you Mickey theres some Tracy Scoggins bashing... I was giggling insanely while I wrote it so at the very least I had fun...borrowed a bit of dialogue off JMS as well...(Marcus re:link)...it just fit in so well!
Anyway...sleep good!

I'd want Avon because he was self-centered! He was so cool. Kinda going for the cool factor, rather than how much use he'd be to the team, but <shrug>. Not like Sean Connery was any use in the real thing, either. Garak! Loved Garak. Garak and Julian, the greatest sexual chemistry on TV. Oh how I wish the producers hadn't chickened out there. Star Trek could have had one hell of a TV first. And Lorne, bless. My big green demon, how I love him so. But in the League? He can scare away bad guys by singing a high note, but he's no use in a fight. He's a lover not a fighter. He might get his suit dirty. And what use would Klinger or Radar be in the League?! You're just going with people you like, now, rather than people who have actually got anything useful to offer. Okay, remembering that I nominated Avon, so not the best one to be throwing stones here... I also want Methos, and possibly Kronos. And the genie from The Genie Down Under (so long as it's the one from the first series). Hooray! Scoggins bashing! Well, Lochley bashing really, I suppose. Still... I think Lion-O too, maybe. And Face and Murdock. I have a very big League much inclined to squabbling. Oh, and Spike. But pre- or post-chip? "Someone's got to fight the good fight."46664 - Play Music - Fight AIDS

Just saw online there's a new thing with Bruce (nice game) Boxleitner and Nana Visitor called "They Are Among Us" on Friday. So there maybe a dl for you. A site has info which has sci and fi and com in it's address Another thing on torrents called The 4400 you may be interested and has a site of the same name with a com at the end. Oh and why, oh why put Marcus in a League of Gentlemen as he'd get the living smelly beat out of him and bunged out for grovelling and whining too much. Mr T would no doubt be first in line. Spike - chip but with soul deffo. Then he'd be a bit like Mena in TLoEG. You have a way of control, with an unsaid warning.

So long as it's not Buffy-whipped Spike, 'cause he was boring. All drooly over the Slayer. Yuck. Well, yuck with that Slayer, anyway. And f_j... once and for all, honey bun. Marcus is cool, damn it! "Someone's got to fight the good fight."46664 - Play Music - Fight AIDS

Why does whatever I say get twisted against Marcus...
and as for Klinger or Radar, someones got to file the paper!
Garak and Julian...oh somethings were just meant to be! Jules should of cut his losses over Jadzia and admitted that him and Garak were at it like Rabbits and the whole meeting for lunch thing was just a giant cover up. But no, this is Trek. Can't do that. I shall revel that Marcus and Stephen are married... Just to show what Sci-fi for grown ups is all about.
Been thinking about what a wasted oppertunity Voyager was. Tuvok, the Doctor, Paris, Torres- Good charecters, full of conflict, angst, arrogance...wasted!!! WASTED I TELL YE! I used to sit there thinking abou how cool it'd be if the show were at all consistant, or if they stuck to their principals, or if (god forbid) the reset button wasn't pushed at the end of the show... then I discovered that Sci-fi doesn't have to be that way!
Rangers reveling in denounced trekiedom at the moment...its been about 2 years since the initial..."HOLY SHIT THIS B5 STUFF IS GOOD!"- but If you start with Z'ha'dum what d'y expect.

Voyager... what a waste, what a waste, what a waste. Chakotay was a wonderful character. The whole rebel thing was a wonderful idea. And what do they do with it? Nothing! They stuck Chakotay on the backburner, forgot that he'd ever been an outlaw, and concentrated on Janeway, the most annoying CO since Lochley. And boy was she annoying. Captains should not be so free with the touchy-feely. As for Julian and Garak, word is they were heading in the right direction with that one and then panicked. Andrew Robinson (Garak) has said in interviews that he always played it as though he had his eye on Julian in a very real way. They had such great chemistry, damn it! Just think - not only the first openly gay relationship in mainstream sci-fi, but also the first cross-race gay relationship! (Except maybe for Invasion: Earth, but that might have just been in the novelisation). Cowards. Er, but Ranger - I don't think there's any doubt about which way Stephen swung. He got more action than anybody else in the show! And noticeably little of it was with Marcus... Ah, Z'ha'dum would be a good place to start, I agree. I started at the beginning, and nearly didn't continue! What a horrible thought! "Someone's got to fight the good fight."46664 - Play Music - Fight AIDS

Nearly didnt continue... shudder shudder. I can see Mickey waking up in a cold sweat screaming "No!! I was nearly a trekie all my life!!" the great thing about starting with Z'Ha'dum is that all the expostition is within the episode- and if you've no idea whats going on it helps... not to mention the realisation that this is no trek rip off, especially when Sheridan jumps and the episode ends... that really had me going "WHOOOW! WTF!" So they really were swinging that way on DS9-- Cowards. B5 is just a wonderful way that equality could turn out... female popes, single sex marriages...the guy who does dilbert sending Garibaldi out to find his dog and cat. It's all good fun. "Thats a bloody awful lot of ships."

Apparently the female Pope thing called quite a stir. Does JMS mention it in the audio commentary, or did I hear it somewhere else? "Someone's got to fight the good fight."46664 - Play Music - Fight AIDS

But I'm teetotal! I'm sure I remember Joe speaking about it on a commentary. It was a throwaway line in the actual episode, and he said some people never noticed it. Others did, and didn't appreciate it! Still, three hundred years down the line for goodness sakes. Even the Catholic Church should have made it into the twentieth century by then... Be cool to start a bar fight, actually. He's right there. I think I'd rather do it for something other than a female pope, though. Mind you, I don't have many important Minbari mentors that I can bust up a bar trying to find, so I guess I'd have to settle for the pope thing. ooo oo ooo!!! Rangers package came.... and to paraphrase Kryton... I'VE SEEN HIM NEKID! My god, I honestly didn't think Jason could get any cuter... and then I see him when he's being the human part of a hedgehog...ahhh. Have to admit at giggling when he was stroking the giant cockrel... is this man always surrounded by such euphanisms? Fighting pikes that go in and out, Large Cocks... Bad dubbing though... but I was busy being impressed by other...assests. ~eh hem~ (NICE ARSE!) For the next few days im going to be gibbering...(sigh-- mmm) ... best hangover cure i've ever found! Oh yes, saw a film with Jeffery Combs in it last night... he was a bad guy -suprise suprise. What else... oh yeah, Bar fights. Haven't had one over B5... but I tried to get Tim the IT technictian in college to try B5 but he outright refused... he wouldn't bel;=ieve it was better that star trek... I thought he might hit me when I started yelling "YOU'RE LIVING A LIE!! YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LIGHT!" ...suddenly remembers a little more of last night... we watched Baywatch... I've no idea why... I wanted to watch X-men. "Thats a bloody awful lot of ships."
