Becky, I agree with Mickey re the Uni thing, it seems like a patronising thing to say but it does open your eyes about so called 'friends' at home... Anyhow, I'm sure your friend hasn't left you out on purpose, just speak to them...?

I do love them too, but thanks to my husband I now have every song they've ever done on my itunes and if I put shuffle on the Manics are like every 4th song, it's driving me a bit bonkers Reckon I'm just going to burn them and take them off.. it's even more annoying as his itunes is on the laptop, mine is the PC grrrrr!

My mp3 player does that with Queen, but I don't mind. Its idea of "random play" is peculiar anyway, though. I only have two or three James Bond theme songs on there, but somehow it always manages to play them in a row.

Ha ha ha!! I know my ipod does that too, or it will pick like 4 albums and just keep playing songs off them.. it's well irritating!

And no, I don't watch any British soaps. Used to watch Emmerdale, back in the glory days of Kim and Chris Tate, but I was only ever a casual viewer. Days Of Our Lives is just awesome fun. The storylines are spectacularly bizarre, and yet oddly enough, the acting is genuinely good. It can give real human emotion to the most blindly silly plots and situations, which is all a part of the fun.

Really? Two? I feel old...

The Wimbledon Men's Final. Awesome tennis, just brilliant to watch. Nadal was a very deserving winner, although they both outplayed themselves, the quality was so high.

Saw Morrissey on Friday in Hyde Park, it was great!
