Have you seen the movie?
Cos it will spoil the movie if I say what happens in the extra scene.
******************************** John Smith: So what am I then? Nothing. I`m just a story.
Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.

Tough luck.
Now you`ll have to pay to see the film legally.

Remember the scene where Charles Xavier is lecturing his students (girl at the front writes on the page by moving her hand across it.) He shows them a TV screen where a man lies in a bed comatose. He talks about the ethics of transferring a persons mind into that of a person in such a condition. Well, that is what happens in the extra scene. You hear Charles' voice come from the hospitalised man. It was well worth sitting through all those credits!

Very well put!
It`s not what I was going to say. But at least YOUR description doesn`t spoil the film like my description would have done.
