Drama series about the supernatural. Allison Dubois sees dead people. She's not crazy, although her husband Joe, a rocket scientist, thought that was a possibility at first. So did Allison, until she realized that her 'gift' could not only change fate, but provide justice for those who no longer have a voice.
Starring: Patricia Arquette, Jake Webber, Miguel Sandoval, Sofia Vassilieva, Maria Lark, April Grace (New Series, Widescreen, Subtitles)
It’s difficult to actually form an opinion on this series based on pilot, I have to at least see 3 episodes before I make a decision whether I like it or not but I think what even more stranger is that it’s based actual evens, unlike Dead Zone which is completely fiction this series isn’t, which put a different perspective on the show, if it was made up I would said it was rip-off Dead Zone however the fact this women sees dead people and she has a job as consultant now put slight difference in story-lines . I am interested to see how the series develops.
Too early to say..an interesting premise though. I knew a medium lady years ago who helped the police but her help was understandably kept very quiet. But as for this show, I didnt like the rather vapid character (bit Sondra Locke-like - yeeeughh) and her little rather whining voice. This grated a bit for me, the older medium lady was more interesting. Will it become formulaic like House- though I don't mind that, it's just brilliant anyway! Or like the old Fugitive /Invaders shows- woman hears message from dead folk, no-one believes her, she proves she 's right and everyone is amazed, next week, no one beleives her etc etc Shame it clashs with Law and Order though.
intresting point there, i do think she a bit spunky for role ' tell him about kiss' was a strange thing even though it worked it was a bit messed up. she just too emotional for my liking hope she becomes more stable.
I quite liked it and will definitely watch again, though the nitpicker in me couldn't help but wonder about the ending: how does being a medium make you see the future? Ghosts can usually only tell you about the past, not the future, so I didn't understand how at the beginning of the episode she could dream about a conversation she was going to have.

People aren't automatons, Bala. They have emotions and react to things. How would *you* act if dead people spoke to you and you saw a load of bloodshed ?
Series looks promising. I was worried that Arquette would annoy me too much. I also hope the story won't be practically the same every week.
One speaks to dead people and is a genuine psychic and the other sees the future/past/whatever because of a car accident. They are not the same at all.
Well for the second episode of this series it was strange episode especially flashback of man sleeping with dead women, it slightly confusing because I wasn’t sure if she got right man, ending kind of made sense when she realised the photo of Italy restaurant was the image of the man. It took a while to set in just hope next episode isn’t as tricky to get as this one. I was wrong she seems to getting use seeing dead people.
I quite liked last night's episode. I liked the fact that it turned out she was wrong about the man in her dreams. Proves she's only human. I don't think i would've liked it if it turned out that the man in her dreams was the killer...

"It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this?"
I actually find it confusing too, well parts of it. Especially when she was choosing the jurors... I loved the dinner party bits tho. I was nearly jumping up and down going "It's Wallace Langham from CSI!" lol
Thanks Yes i am female, i only realised after i created my account that it might be a little confusing...
