Ok, i get it what you mean, people season 8 will be the last but some are actually hoping for a season 9 .

Of course, its fans want it to go much longer, which is why the aforementioned two-letter word might be a smidge hard to read. But it does seem, at least by McGowan's account, that the cast is ready to move on.

Just thought some might be interested in this, although we all knew it was ending

It's weird but I still think of Paige as the new one even though she has been in it longer than Prue was.

^ same here-I think I'll always think of Prue, Piper & Phoebe as The Charmed Ones, and Paige as new. It is strange considering she's been in 5 series, but she does take some getting used to-especially her acting!

I have recently started watching Charmed because we have picked up a few cable channels on our telly, one of which is Living TV.
Its totally confusing us though. I watched an ep where there was this guy in his twenties who was trying to get paige and phoboe to get piper and leo to have sex so he would be conceived. Living tv have been spitting out the eps in a random order aswell.

The episode you watched was probably either 'I dream of Phoebe' or 'The Courtship of Wyatt's Father'(series 6)

The episodes will seem strange if you haven't watched the others-although even if you have seen them all, it's still a bit strange.

Living shows the episodes in order at either 11 & 12 or 4.15 & 5.10 every week day. I think they're at the beginning of series 3 at the moment.

Basically Prue, Piper & Phoebe are (were) The Charmed Ones-and discovered this at the start of series 1. Then, unfortunately at the end of series 3 Prue was killed by a demon called Shax. Then at the start of series 4 they discovered Paige (who was an illegitimate child-their mum had an affair with her whitelighter) and The Charmed Ones were reconsituted.

In my opinion Prue was far better then Paige. I think fans of Charmed are either a Prue or Paige kinda person-and Paige is nowhere as good as Paige, and the connection between Paige and her sisters isn't as close as it was with Prue.

I higly reccomend you start watching it (just because I think it's one of the best shows ever made!) And I would reccomend that you watch it from the beginning 'Something Wicca This Way Comes'. Or if you can't catch it from the beginning-please try and watch the epiodes with Prue in first!lol! (on Livng at the moment)

p.s. A whitelighter is like a guardian angel (Leo is The Charmed Ones' whitelighter). Leo is with Piper0even though it's 'frowned' upon.

Season 8 is much better then season 6 and 7. So I hope they can end it better then teh season 7 finale.

I think the best episodes are in the first three years with Prue. I did not mind Season four but as soon as Wyat came allong it went downhill!

As much as I love Wyatt, and think he's incredibly cute-I would have to agree that series 1-3 are my favourite-and series 4 was quite good aswel. I also think 6 & 7 (especially 7) weren't up to scratch. I hope they give it an ending it deserves!!

Prue was alive in 2009 in season 2.

good point there's a diffrence here-Pru wouldn't have been dead if actress didn't start having fights with producers. At that time in season 2 actress was permant.

Charmed is weird. Its rubbish but rather addictive.
It would be better if the humour was actually funny. Only one line has made me laugh so far and that was from Cole. Well I often laugh but for the wrong reasons.

Yes it had gone beyond cleavage. It was rather distracting, I couldnt help looking at them all the time.
