On a related topic, I note that Channel 5 have not got the 2nd series of Stargate Atlantis.

Nobody knows but signs are not looking good at the moment. If it is it wont be until the end of the smallvile/charmed run which still have about 20 episodes each to run so thats 5 months until they finish and something new comes in! So it looks very doubtful indeed

The last season of SG-1 shown on C4 was Season 8.

The last season of Atlantis on Five was Season 1.

john or you could do what verno does and rent the dvds first from an online on like amazon, then buy the boxset next year when it comes out for cheaper than all the individual boxes?

They arent picking it up, I have no idea how I know this, oh no I do! I emailed them when I emailed channel five about atlantis, it was 'no plans for the immediate future' to pick up the series, so in other words never.
I've faced it, was gonna wait for the boxsets but the renting thing is a great idea! Cheers!

Yes renting is a good idea, especially since I can't afford to buy the boxsets. Although I have bought 1-7 of SG-1.

Yeah that's as far as I got with SG1 before I started needing money for things like food, bus fares, and alcohol.... maybe i should give up the food...
