If I'm remembering right, that wasn't supposed to be the actual ending. The show was axed.

With the mirror. And the grinning and the mania? It was the last episode, it just wasn't supposed to be.

I think.

You're right Mickey.

For years they were going to do a film to finish it off, then when they got the chance they did a bloody prequel instead (Fire Walk With Me)! Roll Eyes

I think Lynch thought they'd do another film to finish off the story, but it never happened. I guess they're all a bit old to finish it off now.

I agree with you about Fire Walk With Me. Twin Peaks was very weird without a doubt, that's why i loved it so much. Northern Exposure was quirky and I loved the music from both. Witch

I love Northern Exposure. My Season 4 DVDs came last week, so I'm enjoying watching them all over again.

I wasn't religious about Twin Peaks... I would quite like to get the DVDs to give it another go.

They're not hard to find in your local HMV, but ordering online is far cheaper.

Thanks you guys, have ordered from Amazon. When they arrive, I think I will set aside a good bottle of wine (or two) and have a week-end NE Fest. One of my favourite episodes was The Northern Lights. Maurice, Marilyn, Maggie, Joel, Shelley, Harland (Sp?), Chris, Ed. Can't wait Witch
