I think it does grown up better than Buffy. When Buffy gets too serious and depressing it just feels depressing(S6). Angel does depressing very well! I liked S6 Buffy though but mainly for eps like OMWF and Normal again rather than as a whole series. I werent really feeling the Dark Willow finale, I expected it to be cooler. Generally Wes was a pillock in Buffy but he had a few funny moments. Like the girly scream in Doppelgangland. That bit really bugs me though cos Cordy is like 'aww Willows dead' but then like whatever! Cordy was shallow but not that unfeeling. I know it was just for a laugh but it bugs me. I say its worth you getting S4(esp now they are cheap) as it is one of my fave seasons. Lots of people will probs disagree on that but despite suffering from the initiative plotline it has tons of stuff to make up for it. There is some Spike and Giles comedy gold!

S4 I didn't like at the time, but on rewatching it's great. Riley and the Initiative are awful (bad, bad idea), but there's plenty else there. Spike is hilarious as he comes to terms with his chip. I love it when it's first installed, and he tries to bite Willow, and she tries to make him feel better when he can't. Spike living with Giles is wonderful too. They really should have milked that one a little longer! I like Giles's girlfriend Olivia too. Plus Hush, one of the most impressive episodes they did; Giles scaring the evil Initiative woman; Ethan, which is always a joy; it's a very good season. Last one without Dawn, too, so all the more reason to celebrate it.  I've just recently got S5, and watching it again I still hate that kid so much. The actress is okay. She was fine in Meego, certainly - but Dawn just makes me want to scream. I really wish Buffy had let her sacrifice herself at the end of that season. Think of what it would have saved us from! I was thinking of buying S4 when mickey said he got his and the packaging was good but then I had to stop myself - have a wedding to pay for an all that!
Although it does you good to treat yourself every now and again..

I like cats too. Can't stay too long in houses if cats live there though. Well, depends if they are allowed to jump everywhere or not. But I get a snotty nose, bloodshot eyes, wheezy and sometimes even a rash. Not preety!
