According to IMDb he was in the 'Hush' ep of Buffy too, but he didn't get a credit for it. He must have been one of the freaky baddies.. I LOVE that ep of buffy
IIRC it was something to do with his heart. He said he was more or less supposed to be bedridden for at least a year, and then he had to take it easy for longer than that. Not ideal when you're trying to build a post-Angel career.

I saw him at a convention when he was just beginning to get sick. And a few months later at another convention he was supposed to be on the mend, but still had to take it easy.
I havent been to another convention since, but I didn`t realise he was still ill.

I have no idea what the situation is now. I did hear that he had been a lot more ill than they'd realised, and had had to take longer off work than planned. I'll try asking Keith Topping. He might know.

Angelus said in season four that "if I swung that way" he'd be interested in Wes. In season five we found out that he did swing that way. He and Spike have dabbled. Ergo...
And Wes was clearly devoted to Angel. It's up to you if you interpret that purely as hero worship, or as something deeper.
I had no idea that Angel and Spike had done some Janto styly dabbling! I've only seen season 5 once because i wasn't very keen on it compared to other seasons. Still though, i don't see Wes as thinking of Angel in that way, lol!
