You may want to read "Hollywood Vampire" by Keith Topping. Among other things, it has a "west hollywood" entry for every episode of Angel, whereby subtle and not so subtle references to non hetero goings on are listed.  "West Hollywood" is known as the gay capital of the world. You`d be amazed at how much was included in the show. Puts RTD`s co called "gay agenda" in Dr Who in the shade!
