Yeah the one with Spike and Oz is really good! In the Dark, it's called! And the one with Cordy is "Rm w/ a view" lol! Just wanted to show off that i do know some things, lol, compared to being a complete dunce when it comes to DW!

Apperntly they are not related. It sure is an unusual name though.

I know about Gorgina Moffat being Peter Davison's daughter, thats why I asked, I thought Troughton (sorry I can't remember her first name) it was an extra goodie that may have been used to tease the fans. Was there something else I missed? Thank you both for replying xx *Momma of the A team thread.* ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥.. We beat together... We are now on the run we have been discovered... No, I don't think so. Alice Troughton was a director on Torchwood, so this is a question that's been asked a lot. Strange sort of coincidence, isn't it! As Elenopa says, it's not exactly a common name - although possibly more common than we realise.

Not overly keen on last night`s ep. Especially the manic scene of the Doctor detixing in the kitchen. I did, however, LOVE the confidential that followed the ep. DT`s father had a cameo as a footman in the garden party scene. And the way the director was much more concerned about the Doctor`s suit in the detoxing scene than he was about the actors!

Yeah, I thought yesterday's episode was rubbish. I've never liked Gareth Robert's stuff, tbh. I don't watch Confidential anymore, though. It's too bloody long nowadays, and I'd rather watch the Oliver thingy on BBC1.

The Unicorn And The Wasp I enjoyed this episode a lot too. It was the epitome of silly but given that remaining episodes are likely to be darker from here on in, I think an episode like this was needed. Realising Agatha Christie on screen meant casting a terrific actress in the role and Fenella Woolgar certainly fitted the bill. I liked her in Jekyll last year and she was brilliant in this too. The country house and a murder - brilliant. Liked the list of suspects - the flapper, the reverend, the wife, husband, son and even Agatha seeing as she created many a murder mystery. Donna was in top form with this episode too. Her encounter with the wasp was interesting after she mentioned that bees hadn't disappeared in 1926 and the vespiform was a realised monster. The Doctor's near death by cyanide gave David Tennant achance to flex his physical comedy and he certainly had fun. The kiss between The Doctor and Donna was a nice move but I'm glad that Donna isn't developing a crush on The Doctor. The reverend being the Vespiform, kinda saw it coming but it was an enjoyable twist. Too bad the gay son got killed before the big reveal however. Overall this was fun but the BBC are spoilsports for not giving us that big trailer for the remaining episodes of the season, 9/10.

I know that there are spoilers "out there", and in some unlikely places (JB`s autobiography for a start), but isn`t RTD trying to keep the finale under wraps? In the Radio Times 3 week long specials at the start of the season he said he wasn`t releasing any info about the finale, not even the title. Therefore, not having the BBC air a long trailer about the end of the season only heightens the anticipation of whats to come. I found the trailer they did air to be most intrigueing, and I`m looking forward to it. quote: The Doctor's near death by cyanide gave David Tennant a chance to flex his physical comedy and he certainly had fun.
oh yeuk. He may have had fun, but I couldn`t stand it. The ep, for me, was completely ruined by that one scene.

It was terrible, yes. I usually like manic Ten, but that bit was just dreadful. Though I did like the salt being too salty.

Oh, i really liked the episode and the detox scene! I thought it was pretty funny. Plus i guessed what all of his gestures were way before Donna, lol! I was shouting at the TV, like, "it's salt!!"......yeah....i'm a bit sad......

The Detox scene was fun and at least we have got the Doctor/companion kiss out of the way for this season. No more mentions of lost planets that I can think of. What I have noticed though is everybody asking just who is the Doctor. It's come up an awful lot. I hope RTD isn't going to 'reveal' who the Doctor is; that would spoil the mystery of the character. He wouldn't......would he?

If I ask what do you mesn by that, am I likely to get a spoiler reply??

Ok finally caught up.... Reading everything about 'The Doctor's Daughter' makes me think that I missed somehting in this ep.. I just didn't think it was that good. All the build up and she's actually just a clone and it was pointless Martha being there in a way. They didn't really show a reason why the TARDIS brought her along too.. Or did they? Like I say I may have missed something? It was fairly obvious she was going to come back to life too. But I am interested to see what they do next with this. 'The Unicorn and The Wasp' was ok'ish. Donna was even more irrtating the usual though. I didn't like all the 'in jokes' having never been a big Agtha Christie fan. I may have got more out of it if I was. Also it was a bit too much like the one with Charles Dickens in it, in terms of the 'your books will last forever' theme. The wasp just looked ridiculous, I laughed every time it appeared on the screen.

Jenny is not "just" a clone. A clone is identical to original, and seeing as Jenny is female, and the Doctor is male........ she definitly is not identical. The Tardis didn`t bring Martha along for any reason. She just happened to be onboard the Tardis when it decided to take off. quote: 'The Unicorn and The Wasp' was ok'ish. I have decided, after further watching, that as long as I fast forward the Doctor`s cringeworthy detoxifying shenanigans, that the ep wasn`t as disasterous as I first thought. It`s been deacades since I read any Agatha Christie books, that most of the in jokes went over my head as well. But I think I caught enough to notice a couple of book titles thrown into the conversation. Didn`t reaise there were quite as many put in until I watched the Confidential. Despite my appreciation of the episode rising, I think I still prefer to watch the Confidential rather than the ep itself this week.

Sorry, I meant I was slightly dissppointed that this was how Jenny came about. In the sense of all the speculation about how she was the Doctors daughter, it would have been nice for him to 'find' his daughter in a different way, but that would have raised too many anomalies I guess. I know what a clone technically is, it was just the most suitable word that came into my head to describe her! Also, I'm not convinced by the Martha thing. As she is saying bye the TARDIS decides to take off with her in it, on its own little journey. I thinking she was taken with them for a reason, but maybe we haven't seen what yet? But maybe she needs to know about the Doctors daughter for some reason?... Who knows!

RTD does!!! or at least if he doesn`t at the moment, he will. I quite like the way the story came about. If Jenny had been his biological daughter, then that meant she`d have been concieved back in the middle 1980s, making Sylvester McCoy her daddy (or Colin Baker). I know that Time Lords can live a long time, but if Jenny had been conceived decades, or even centuries ago, she could not "get away" with being such a fresh faced innocent. Which means that Georgia Moffett would not have been cast as Jenny. Plus we could not have had the story we had, which in turn would not have given us my two favourite scenes - the one in the cell where the Doctor hears her two hearts, and the scene where he grabs a gun and threatens to kill Cobb.

Of course she wouldn't have been conceived in the eighties, with Sylvester McCoy as her father. *Is rather baffled by this logic*

how old is Jenny meant to be then? which incarnation would have been her father if she had been concieved as far back as her age suggests?
