Fantastic! There's loads of them available on CD. quote: Originally posted by Bad Ambassador: Oh, only just seen this thread. What a horrible colour!
Hello John! Yes, it's not the best colour ever, certainly. It does grow on you, though.

But the spoilers they posted for the story looked very good. And shows that virtually every spoiler we`ve had so far for season 2 is for the same episode.
sorry angelus... i didnt know it was in the sun newspaper, im a mirror person myself... i should have realised it would have been in the newspapers.. *embaressed* however I do agree that the spoilers look very good..
Hey!! my comments were`nt meant as a dig about you posting the news. If anything it was a dig at the newspaper for printing spoilers. The news photo was spread over two whole pages. There was no way anyone reading the paper could have missed it. In a way, I`m rather glad that everything the Sun printed was all about the one episode. It means that the other 12 and the xmas special is, so far, spoiler free!
hehehe fair enuff, the brillance of the media!! do you know if the sun's article is on the net, wouldnt mind seeing it??

I like the colour! I had this conversation before on this forum though, and apparently I see the forum as different colours to other people :S

I don't mind the purple around the outside. The greyish purple inside is just dull though. It's like a prison colour.

It's very easy on the eyes, unlike some other colour schemes.
Ranger Elenopa,
You can get more with a kind word and a two by four, than you can with just a kind word.

Gah! The OC forum burns my eyes. This forum looks bluey purple and purpley blue.

Michael Sheard has died. Very sad news for Who fans and fans of Grange Hill.

Goodness! He wasn`t that old. What did he die of? He also introduced the viewers to Del Tarrant in Blake`s 7. By all accounts a popular convention guest speaker. He will be missed.

Sad news indeed. I got the DVD 'Pyramids of Mars' earlier this year, in which Michael Sheard appeared. He gave a fine performance in that adventure, but also gave a warm and entertaining turn on the commentary track along side Liz Sladen and Peter Hinchcliffe. The three really were a pleasure to listen too. While he will always be Mr Bronson to my generation, he really seemed to be a lovely man, I'm sad at his passing. RIP. BRG

He was a lovely bloke, yes - not at all like the spectacularly odious Mr Bronson! He played Hitler at least four times, too, so he obviously liked playing evil types. He died of cancer, Angelus. He was 65. And yes, he introduced Tarrant in Blake's 7 3x02. Plays a nasty piece of work in that, too! Who fans were rather hoping that he'd appear in the new series some time, given how many adventures he's been in in the past. Not to be, now.

AERRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!! BBC3 are not showing this week`s DR Who confidential at it`s normal time next saturday. I`ve been through ALL the BBC3 listings between now and this time next week, and they`re not showing it at all. I only need the next two and I`ll have a full set of Confidentials off air. They`re showing the Cut down version (15mins) tonight, but not the full length (30 mins)repeat. There was no mention, either before or after last night`s show about a time change for next week. Anybody (Mickey??) help?

If all else fails, Angelus, I noticed they are in cyber space New show called Invasion that's worth a sneeky peak. I remember Mr Bronson in Grange Hill etc. Particularly seem to recall the swimming incident one; when his (once) mooted wig went of in another direction to him Took a look on imdb and was amazed how many things he was in that I'd seen. Everything from Ello, Ello to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. RIP the jobbing actor.
You have a way of control, with an unsaid warning.

Yes, I know. It`s how I watched the early ones I`d missed the first time around. I`m not sure how I`ve not got the two I will be missing if BBC don`t show anymore. Someone in the house must have deleted them off the planner.

You're supposed to read Deviant Strain first. Can't you read Gallifreyan?! Got 'em all, anyway. Deviant Strain has a good story, but it's not brilliantly written.

Okay, so... Deviant Strain - good story, badly written. Come on Justin, you can do better than that! Only Human - bleurgh. I'd expect more depth from a Terrance Dicks Target novelisation. Gareth, really... Like the "wrong-feeling" thing - very 1984, but the entire book is totally unengaging. The only bits I liked were Das's diary entries. When even Jack isn't interesting me, I know that something is wrong. The Stealers Of Dreams - very nice. Only halfway in, but very good all the way. Steve Lyons step forward and take a bow.

O K Did you at least like the way that Jack distracted everyone from seeing Rose and the Doctor get into the hospital?? Reading Deviant Strain at the moment. It`s a bit wierd. Got to agree with the badly written part tho. It`s reminding me of Sylvester McCoy`s The Curse of Fenric at the moment (although that feeling could well change as I get further into the book). Can`t say as I like the way that Jack is written (so far).

Erm... no. I don't know - it just didn't grab me at all. It all felt so daft, like Gareth Roberts had never even seen Jack. Read The Stealers Of Dreams, though - now that is Jack! The book is awesome, and all the characters are spot on throughout. Jack is wonderful.

I`m reading Stealers of Dreams now. I think I`m as confused as Rose! You`re right though, it IS a good story. I think it would translate very well into a TV episode. Can`t wait to find out WHO/WHAT the bad guy is. Although going by some certain epi referbacks, it wouldn`t surprise me to find that this is happening around the start of the "Great and Bountiful" era, even though the Doc said the time is different.

Regarding your DWC question, Angelus, there's a thread about it now at OG. Go to Series One Discussion, and look for a thread called Why do BBC3 mess around with Doctor Who Confidential repeats?. I don't know if your question is answered there, but there's some scheduling information.
