She's never said that she was leaving. That was pure Press nonsense. She's signed up for the entirety of series two/twenty-eight, and will presumably decide later about series three/twenty-nine. Jack will be back in series three, but not in series two. He's busy with other projects until January/February.

I'm terribly sorry if someone has mentioned this all before but I can't look through 50 pages of Dr Who stuff (I'm on dial-up!) so I'll just let you know. If you don't want to know anything about locations etc look away now! Well...I live fairly near to the Dr Who studios (across the border slightly, near the Forest of Dean). Just thought you lot might like to know about some of the locations they've been using around here, apparently for the Christmas special. Location 1: Clearwell Caves - an ancient Iron Ore mine with a large central cavern (large enough for a good party). This place should be on toursim sites etc if you want to have a look. I've been down there a few times. Location 2: A garage in a tiny local village. Apparently, this ws used because it has changed very little since World War Two, still having a pit beneath the car rather than a ramp and being a WWII era building also. This was featured in the local press, so if you search, you may (or may not) find. Hope this is vaguely interesting. Some people like to know about locations, others not. It may well be terribly old news, in which case i apologise!

quote: am sad that Chris Eccleston isnt doing the next series, and I read that Billie will be in the xmas special and then about half of the new series, is that correct? I thought her and christopher were great, it will be a shame, but David might be pretty good
She`s signed for the whole of season 2. But, apparently, Jack isn`t back until season 3. All I`m hoping for now, is that Billie is still in the show when Jack returns. Else how else would Jack know it`s the Doctor?

Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.

OOpps, that`ll teach me to not look to see if anyone has replied first! Anyway...... thank`s for that Paper Tiger. Always interested to know that kind of detail. Someone did post some location details earlier, but you haven`t duplicated them, so don`t worry. But, even if you had mentioned the same locations, it doesn`t matter, because, like you, not everyone can afford the internet time to search through every page and every message.

Well, one assumes that the Doctor isn't going to be losing the power of speech any time soon... Besides which, he's Jack. First time he sees Ten, he'll probably just say "Hi Doc, like the new look."

Nah, what he`ll say is "like the new look, the teeth look a bit wierd though"

Well he'll have to give the new teeth a test drive.

No doubt Jack will suggest the Doctor bites his... Shame we won't see Jack until new S3. So, going by the garage's decor and locale it'd appear Christmas is going to be spent in WWII days. Hum. Perhaps they'll have a cave rave at the end.
You have a way of control, with an unsaid warning.

Why would they? Only way the Doctor could run into them is if he crossed his own time stream - or risked running into Jack, which would be hugely naughty.

Well that answers my question on the other thread! He was great, wasn't he. Always is, mind. One of the best ambassadors Who has ever had.

Thanks Mickey, I just voted. Used the "skip" button, - didn`t know half the programmes or names. How very limited my TV watching is. Of Brit made programmes, anyway. My + planner is chocker block full of US TV shows and documentaries.

Anyone bought the Script Book for the 2005 Doctor season? RTD`s forward is hilarious. He must be ignoring the 12 regeneration thing, as he says his time in charge of Doctor Who runs from 2004 to 2037. He then gets locked up in the BBC TV Towers prison after writing the all naked episode, and casting himself as the Rani. When he asks a reporter visitor who the current Doctor is, he gets told it`s Romeo Beckham. Gotta love that man`s sense of humour!

RTD doesn't have to ignore the regeneration limit. David Tennant has said that he's in the role for the next forty years.

Ahhh. That gives Romeo Beckham time to grow to adulthood then! So..... a cassanova AND a romeo as the Doctor!! must stay alive lomg enough to watch that happenstance.

JB is on Loose Women (almost literally ) again this Tuesday (18th). It might be a repeat, or it might be a return performance. Nobody seems to know yet. Either way, worth seeing.
