still here?

Does anyone know (Mickey???) if Doctor Who is back NEXT month as in previous years? Or do we have to wait until Torchwood finishes before it starts, which means middle of April.

Doctor Who always has been since the return, so far as I know. Torchwood got cinema trailers too, for both series.

I only know because it got mentioned in Doctor Who Magazine, or probably over at OG. Haven't been to the cinema in years, myself! Last time was LOTR III, I think...

Humph I know! **sulks** I totally agree, her voice on the trailer is incredibly annoying... there are enough out of work good actors in the country, why they had to cast her is beyond me!

OK, where is everybody? I bet you're watching confidential aren't you? Well, fun episode. The mosters were cute and I think they had far too much fun making the bits where Donna and the Doctor didn't quite met up. I am actually liking Donna at the moment, but then I don't watch Catherine Tate, so I don't have anything to compare to. Not sure about the new arrangment of the theme tune. Rock guitar riffs? Rose at the end. Not sure about this. She disappeared, so hopefully she is just a hologram or some other projection. I would absolutely hate it if they broke their own continuity by letting Rose cross back from the alternative universe. The Doctor did say there was absolutely no chance of that door being opened again or it would destry both universes. Is this our Bad wolf/Torchwood/Saxon of the season?
Ranger Elenopa,

Didn't watch Confidential, no. Who was on way too early for me this week, so I had to watch it much later instead. And I thought it was rubbish.

Do u all hate Rose that much to the extent that u wouldn't the Door to the Other Dimension 2 b Open again, even if it is at the risk of the entire Universe. This would b a great and challenging storyline. How would the Doctor save the Universe at this point, and what Sacrifices will he have to make?

I think the Doctor should have left Catherine Tate behind, and taken Bernard Cribbins along instead.

After the Torchwood finale, I was wanting something light and frothy. This episode did that. It was light, it was silly but unlike "New Earth", the humour was reasonably restrained. Can't fault that. From the first fifteen minutes of the episode, Donna won me over. I can't believe I ever had doubts about Catherine Tate - she really is that good. Donna's drifting and not doing anything great with her life since "The Runaway Bride" was a good way to get her wanting to seek out The Doctor. Clever girl for sneaking into Adipose and trying to get some answers. Pity poor Stacey had to die for Donna to really realise that those diet pills were bad. The Adipose creatures were cute, really cute. Miss Foster being the demented supernanny worked reasonably well and her death was definitely not predictable. Although they came out of something bad, it was not stated that the Adipose were evil creatures. I liked that bit of ambiguity. Donna and The Doctor's reunion was fun. The conversation through the windows cracked me, Donna blaming him for disaster and her symathise with him over Rose/Martha was nice. I'm glad The Doctor accepted her as a companion but Jesus, some many cases? Donna really doesn't pack light does she? At least she has no excuse to be in a different costume next week. Sylvia and Wilf. Is it custom for the mums on this show to be so irritating? No wonder Donna wanted to get away from her. Loved Wilf though. He was brilliant so I'm looking forward to seeing more of him. As for Rose's brief appearance? Loved it! Very mysterious but will we really have to wait until episode 11 to get continuity on it? I'm guessing that time is breaking or the void between world is beginning to tear again. This was everything a season premiere could expect for and more. Really looking forward to everything that comes along, 9/10.
