Well first of all it is not an Islamic state, even the Saudias dont claim that, they claim it is a muslim state, and the king is the gaurdian of the kebah, very differnt things. Second the title of the state is Kingdom of Saudia Arabia.

Second, Ummah, just means nation, it does not refer to an over arching authority.

Third there is a "muslim Brotherhood" its a world wide political party, with branches in most countries. Look it up!

I do honestly think that the general public are moving right, it is not based on bias it is based on observation.
