I think the media is largely to blame for skewing the reality of sex for most of us.

My own view is that young people aren't having as much sex as the media says they are, and older people are having more sex than the media says they are.

As far as the telly, magazines etc would have it, only gorgeous young thin things with fake tans are enjoying sex. In fact, people who don't fit that mould are having just as much sex as anybody else. It's just not quite so much fun (or commercially viable) to talk about it.

Absolutely right.

The 'perfect' figure lot tend to be far too self-involved to ever be any good at it anyway.
