I doubt the BNP got 3% last time, so 10.7% is a huge stride forward. Thats what they do, make progress, might take a while, but they're here for the future and will never lay down.

The problem is that people keep denying that their share of the vote is rising.
It is inevitable that they will progress. Until someone takes the concerns of the populace seriously they will continue to be the 4th party gaining I would expect the 5ish percent we saw in the London elections, perhaps a little better in local elections. The Tories I'm afraid are going to be the next government, they won't listen to us, they don't have to it's a done deal. Labour will have to become Sooper Dooper Nu Labour next time around to appeal to anyone. Leave the socialist agenda to the Socialist Workers lot. The BNP make progress and then the dirty tricks crew come out to play with the thugs of searchlight et al. Anyone with a reasonable family life and earning a good living dare not risk that, so the typical labour voter who has suffered most under this government are the ones looking for what the BNP offer.
BTW I saw that in a council seat in Darlington just before the weekend they got 28%. In a council blog one of the labour councilors announced it a crushing victory for labour and a rejection of the fascist agenda, 28%, errr, fascist, errr, nu Labour, mmmm?
What a load of guff. There is no BNP breakthrough. They failed miserably in 2007 to make the gains they expected. They are increasingly seen for what they are - a loathsome whites only bunch of amateur politicians that offer nothing to the working people. They are now plagued by bitter in fighting and a split led by calls for a leadeship challenge.
"Young and old alike must learn about the Holocaust as warning against the dangers of racism. There is no difference in colour or religion. If I had survived to betray the dead it would have been better not to survive. We must not forget. Please do not forget." (Leon Greenman – Auschwitz survivor)
“I am well aware that the orthodox opinion is that 6 million Jews were gassed and cremated or turned into lamp shades. Orthodox opinion also once held that the earth is flat … I have reached the conclusion that the ‘extermination’ tale is a mixture of Allied wartime propaganda, extremely profitable lie and latter witch-hysteria.....It's well known that the chimneys from the gas chambers at Auschwitz are fake, built after the war ended." (Nick Griffin – BNP Chairman)
