Wow, thanks, that really is breaking news!

Your, er, fondness for the film wouldn't be anything to do with the Britt Ekland scene, would it? Eek

Incredible suspense.
Edward Woodward was deliberately lured to the island of Summerisle in order to be sacrificed.
Britt Ekland was outstanding.

Where have you been?
Hollywood produced a very inferior re-make quite recently. How did you miss all the hype and reviews?

An an inferior re-make?

That must've been one really bad film.

If they were after Britt's backside they'd be disappointed as a "stunt bum" was used!

I started this Thread, a joke Thread, on the Richard and Judy Forum.
It is now on the News Forum.
What is going on?
Are the deleted Threads being reinstated but on the wrong Forums?
Is there no end to Channel4's inability to manage a Forum facililty?
I despair!!!

It was also on last night at 10pm and Edward Woodward fell for it again! Not the director's cut which I prefer, but still a top film. Locations and acting are excellent. John Gielgud once said, "Edward Woodwood! Sounds like farting in the bath."

Dunno what is going on on the forums lately. I wonder if some Big Brother threads will morph here, God forbid!

Apparently the 'League of Gentlemen' were inspired by the Wicker Man, when creating Royston Vasey and all its charming characters.

Has any seen the remake on Sky premier at the moment - it's awful - but then I don't get Nicholas Cage.

The cinema darkened the trailers ran.
Nicholas Cage pops up on screen - "I quite like him, lets see what his new film is."
Lots of quick cuts and blurs - "hmm, not really interested". Cue deep US accent and fire on the screen - The Wicker Man.

Cue whole audience laughing at my "Oh! FFS" outburst.

Shouldn't that be 3?

Anyway... the school classic.

Why has Edward Woodward got 4 d's in his name?
