Why are people trying to see something that simply isn't there? Its frankly pathological.

The MOD like every other military in the world employ combat environment reporting restrictions. The British MOD however agree those restrictions with just about every single Media organisation in the country and review them regularly.

One of the main restrictions is that names and details of deployments for individual soldiers are not to be given out. The press agree to this. Its been the same for 20 years.

I thought the whole charade and Sicking.

He hopes his mother would be proud of him Roll Eyes he stated how he was proud to fight for his country, something like that, he was saying all the right things that would appeal to 18 year old guys to get the fighting spirit and sign up, IT WAS A RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN he was coming to the end of his time out their, strangely the news broke from some other nastie press source on net America and Oz, so they say they had no choice but to reveal Harry 10 week or so stint with feature film length documentation Big Grin I can see all those young 18 yr olds from Eton rushing to sign up and risking their lives for queen and country and pipe lines along with all the other sons and daughters of our MPs.

See the film ! see the bravery! see the fighting spirit! SEE THE PRINCE!! WE WANT YOU NOW!! Thumbs Up set aside the lack of essential equipment WE WANT YOU NOW!! Thumbs Up

Harry was no ordinary soldier in Afghanistan. He was molly cuddled and childminded by the highly trained Gurka regiments. He was also air dropped to mountainousregions rather than the tighlty packed streets to avoid IEDs.

It wasn't hard to deduce that he was there anyway.

Told he couldn't go to Iraq...bleated top the media he's leave the army if he didn't see some action.....not in a tabloid for weeks.

After the news of harry being afganistan. lets give the blog who let the news go a big hand.
His name is a Matt Drudge, yes he the one that started the Liwinsky affair with clinton.
But he has but harry in the front line and also his trops.
May be he should tell an English court why, after all the Americans can get what they want from the UK now it's pay back time.
I am sorry this not about Prince Harry he is doing his duty,.
But about the troops that are also doing their duty.
This man has but them in great danger.
So much for Americans fight on terror

Jon Snow is an arrogant and ignorant idiot.

He is clearly blissfully unaware that the public regard for journalists lays somewhere below that of politicians and estate agents and that comes mainly from their obession with publishing any piece of news whenever they can regardless of the hurt it can cause.

Their is nothing more sacred to the British public than the safety of our troops, including Prince Harry - the so called 'freedom of the press' does not even begin to rank in comparison

For once the British press behaved as they should - for Jon Snow to praise a gutter internet site that cares little for the safety of our soldiers shows that, in the end, journalists can never be trusted to be anything other than self righteous, self interested cretins
