The calls for evidence are interesting. Usually this mean 4 MALE witnesses to each and every event. Any attempt to collect such evidence would be called 'targeting' and islamaphobic etc.
In the light we are spending billions on internal security against jihadis and that we are told there are thousands of extremists in the uk and the uk awash with jihadi literature it would be in keeping that the creation of fiefdoms where the islamic writ runs would be likely to be high on the radical agenda. Little waziristans.
as for the call to prayer 5 times a day which means before dawn someone should be able to end it citing noise pollution?
He has a cheek. I can remember in my lifetime where you couldn't get a promotion unless you belonged to a particular branch of Christianity. Luckily the people destabilised and saw them off and I doubt that they would allow any other weirdo religious power bases. I will continue to go for my Coriander where I like.
are the mods deleting all posts on this subject because it's to controversial in the hope that it just goes away or is it just the ones you don't like?
Has it ever occured to you that most of the trouble you talk of is caused by indisciplined, unorganised young men? Try coming up to Marske and tell a certain family that they are under Muslim threat.

What he is really doing is expressing a concern about the Church of England having its values diluted, by sitting in a multi faith 'mish mash' as he calls it. This may hold some truth, but it's only a point of concern if one cares about Christianity above any other religion. I dont really, to be honest.
I have my own concerns about Britain being as cultural 'mish mash' of opposing ideologies, but I would never dream of saying that here, for fear of being branded a racist or thought criminal...
Smacks of attention seeking to me. The only no-go areas I know of are the 'rougher' parts of town, why doesn't the Bishop talk about those places? About how run down they are and in need of support and money? Why the hate mongering? Most people of different religions have been able to live side by side for centuries without problems.
Funny how he doesn't name even one of these so-called no-go areas for non-muslims. As for things like chaplains in prison he seems to want only christian chaplains. What a surprise. Typical nonsense we've come to expect of Nazir-Ali.
visiting relatives in Glasgow recently and they told me of their 7 year old daughter who attends a Catholic school and muslim pupil informed the 7 year old that Jesus Christ was not really god that Allah is. I think it would be better to explain to the Muslim child that she is living in a Country where the majority of the people do not share with the Muslim faith but that is what her parents are teaching her. Tolerance has to come from all groups and not just the indigenous majority with modern outlook on life.

Typical bullsh!t and you know it. Four witnesses are for the act of adultery not each and every event.

Fine by me as long as you also ban church bells for noise pollution.

The problem is just what exactly? Why should the muslim child be told to keep quiet about his faith? Also what was the context of this alleged conversation?

the child is only repeating what she is told in the home. The child could have been taught that her family believes..........whatever and that other people believe different. Prejudice begins from the cradle.
Modern Britain is welcoming and tolerant to difference but there should be no no go areas for Britains. This has long been a concern for me that crazy behaviour and intolerance and violence as seen at present in Pakistan and Kenya could become a way of life for Britain that has long become democratic and peaceful with women not seen as objects of men but free to have careers etc. I just wonder what Britain will be like in years to come with people who would be willing to kill if you have a cartoon or say the wrong thing about the person they see as their god whilst others do not?

But was what intolerant about what the child said? It's like saying 'My team's better than yours', something children just say and believe. Adults should be careful about over-reacting to something a child has said.

You think that was a tolerant post? It seems you can only see bad where immigrants are concerned, that's not very tolerant is it?

How is what he said prejudiced? It's what muslims believe pure and simple.
