Does anyone seriously believe Cameron will be any different?

Wake up and smell the coffee!!

They ALL just tinker with a failing economic system.

Not me. Cameron seems to think that the UK can be fooled a 2nd time, by a nice smile and a lot of Political posturing.

So far, I haven't heard one single policy, or even something he has noted down on the back of a fag packet as a good idea.

The Tories are as bereft as Labour, they just haven't proved it the way Labour have.

I wouldn't vote BNP even if they were showing me what they meant by "power is the product of force not rational debate".

Mr Grifffin's Old-Labour economic policies didn't work when the Labour Party tried them so I dont see them having a terrific success rate when tried by a bunch of incompetents like the BNP.

the tories are still the mad and bad. Both cameron and brown are patrons of jnf so both support ethnic cleansing. so there is no difference.

The Labour MPs are just holding out for the last Thursday the Electoral Commission will allow them. The majority of Labour MPs know that they will be looking for other jobs come 2010 anyway, they want until then to grease palms for directorships.

When an election comes, sooner or later it's going to be a bigger wipe-out than 97, I enjoyed that and I will enjoy this next show, whenever it happens.

The thing is, they only have themselves to blame, and it is collective responsibility this time, it will not be the Tories who win but Labour who loses and I think they will be out for a very long time indeed.

A good question would be is opposition too good for them, they are obviously a tired party who have tried everything they can now and failed at great expense, maybe the Labour party, once they let the Tories in, should now be dismantled and an opposition for the 21st century formed.

Probably because every time the tories come up with an idea labour nicks it and claims it as their own.

Absolutely... and they're always BAD ideas... PFI/privatise the NHS/be an Israeli puppet etc... Labour being another Tory party is behind most of the mess...

On a possibly not unrelated topic... the MOD is about to spend £30 million destroying cluster bombs

Anyone think of a cheaper way to dispose of these worthless devices...?

Put them in a big pile, sprinkle some black powder around the bottom and light the fuse then run like hell. Works for me when ever I have to get rid of unwanted explosives.

Lucky Dave is all heart, no doubt about it. He is not too busy preparing himself for the office of prime minister that he cannot spare a thought or two for a politician far worse off than himself.

And just think, this time last year the positions were reversed. It was Lucky Dave on the ropes and Gordon Brown who was talking up a general election that would at last rid him of the label of Buggins' turner. Then he got cold feet and called the whole thing off, throwing away a cool million of Labour party funds that had already been spent on the start of the election campaign.

You cannot help but feel sorry for the poor chap - and all those Labour supporters who last year were on this board, gloating over the impending annihilation of the Tory party.
