Gordon Brown said today "I'm getting on with the job. My task is getting on with the job. It's exactly what people want me to do"

Question:
Is getting on with the job what YOU want Gordon Brown to do

Choices:
Yes he should get on with the job
Don't care
No he should get out of the job
No he should call a general election

I don't really care any more as the next lot aren't going to be much better. However, what Gordon has done is put over half of his MPs on the dole. Had he not run away from an election last year they might have got away with a reduced majority. He swapped a possible win, strong opposition into a certain rout, a Labour wipeout!

He now has no incentive to call an election, he may as well just retire because he will probably lose his seat anyway.

He's in Number Ten and no one will move him until 2010 and they all know with certainty the money will keep coming in until then, no one is going to risk an election.

One thing is certain though, after 2010 there is probably going to be no Labour party to speak of, if a seat like that can fall then they may be left with about 50 MPs give or take a few.

What - no option to 'go directly to the Hague, do not collect £200, and stand alongside Karadzic on similar war crimes charges' ? Wink

George Bush is The Decider.

Brown is The Getter Oner.

Brown should quit just before the election and appoint either Andy Burnham or Dave Milliband to be the kind of creepy, crawly, slimey, self-righteous, pious opposistion leader they deserve to be, so I we don't notice the change when Cameron gets promoted
