Perhaps rubbish is a little harsh, but what little I've seen has left me pretty cold.

Some of the jokes are funny and her timing is great. But like Little Britain, most of her comedy characters are one trick ponies.

She's a rubbish one-trick pony. Furthermore, her sketches weren't even funny at the first time of viewing

That's exactly what i was thinking..., And like little Britain once a character has attracted the attention of the media (lauren/gran etc...) they get milked to death and lose the spark that they originally had

however, David Walliams is a crap actor/comedian, with crap material- simply crap.

I think that Catherine Tate's characters rely on that "Oh yeah, I know her/him" factor. I work in a shop and we get gangs of Laurens in with all the attitude and the stupid questions. And the foul-mouthed gran..I was speaking to an elderly customer the other day and she was quite sweet until the "F" word slipped out and I was really shocked! And everyone knows a Leonard Mincing, don't they? Yeah, I must admit, she makes me laugh.

She is FANTASTIC

She doesn't have the slightest trace of acting skills.
And all her characters look/sound the same.

I think shes an amazing actress but she really shouldn't write her own material, it's just not funny.

I think her material's 50/50 very funny and very tiresome. But she's clearly a talented performer and I'd rather watch her show than Little Britain any day.

She needs to move on from the catchphrase comedy though, it wears off so quickly.

i got series 1 dvd the other day for my birthday, and i have to say i do like her very much, in small amounts. i like her characters, but i think she needs to stop relying on catchphrases so much, especially as she's so talented.

I aggree with most people here, you need to keep changing the characters to keep it fresh.

some sketches make me giggle, but my Hubby hates it...

doesn't do much for me - neither does Little Britain.I do think there are some people who feel they have to like it cos everyone says its good. I'm not one of them!

sketches too long, and when not using the most boring of catchphrases ( the best one being "how very dare you" which is only funny to me because of Peter Kay's Max when he says "how dare you" ) are weak at best...sigh

what is with BBC sketch shows they are just getting worse Little Britian lost its charm and ManStrokeWoman has its moment but again the sketches are sometimes too long and erase the spark that they had in the beginning.

Here's hoping Titty Bang Bang will be better!

I think, judging by the pilot, you will be disappointed by Titty Bang-Bang too.

titty bang bang is really bad, i urge you not to watch it! i see a pattern, people who dont like catherine tate dont like little britain either. they are very similar - repeated sketches that wear thin quickly. i dont really like either but prefer little britain.
