It's a new six-part comedy series by Graham Linehan, who wrote Father Ted. Having seen the first couple of episodes, I'd say it has a similar sort of style to it.
What's wrong with friends? As long as they don't taunt you constantly, make fun of you, bully you, make you strip for their enjoyment, force you to perform Broadway numbers. Well, I ain't whistlin' dixie no more! I AIN'T WHISTLIN' DIXIE!

C4 are really doing good these days..they really know which programmes to chose..Desperate Housewives excluded *shakes fist at C4 for airing a second season of DH*
don't you like it!?
you're just miffed its going to be on until June, and that we are not sure when Lost will be back on!!!
seriously though, DH is very good.... and funny, like lost in a superficial neighbourhood!!!! lol!
--------------------------- tuesdays now rock! music is power!
I was looking forward to this one - am surprised they're showing 2 in 1 night if it's only 6 eps long.
I think whoever came up with this show must've watched 'Dweebs' (TV show from 1995 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111947/ or http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles/d/dweebs_1299001005.shtml). The concept is veeeerrrrry similar. Except there were 3 blokes in that. And the employer was very shy. Am disappointed by that but it looks funny enough so I'll stick with it. Hopefully it'll move further away from Dweebs as it goes on.
Hi there, just watched it, I don't have a TV as I generally don't get much value out of it, but I liked it. Maybe because I've spent my life in IT. Anyways, looking forward to the rest if they're all being aired on the net. I even be willing to put up with a few ads to watch it....

Right-Click somewhere on the video viewing area (that's the button on the mouse that isn't on the left side)
Hover your mouse pointer (the little arrow-thing on your monitor) over the word 'Zoom'.
Left-Click (that's the button on the LEFT side of your mouse) on your desired viewing size:
Full Screen - Means that the picture will fill your entire screen. That means it will be as big as it can get. Press the 'Esc' key (very top left button on your keyboard) to get back to the original size.
50% - This will display the show at half the original size, you probably don't want that.
100% - This will display it at it's original size, you don't like that either.
200% - This will double the size of the video player from it's original size.
I can't view the video on Ubuntu Linux and on further investigation it appears to be a Windows Media file? WTF? If you're targetting a show at geeks, at least allow people running a geek OS to view it. Put it in Flash or Real Media instead, as Windows Media is terrible on Macs too.
Damnit, I was looking forward to this

I've tried fiddling around with Mplayer and apparently I need to download Windows codecs and blah blah blah. Firefox also doesn't seem to know what to with a link that starts mms://. What a pain, the BBC website is a lot easier to use and less Microsoft-reliant. Come on Channel 4, sort it out
While the show was good, not great, there is no way I can watch another episode with a damn laugh track, please, please, please, remove it. Its a good idea, with a good cast, and could be great, but canned laughter is so off putting and implies that we can't understand that a certain thing is funny Remove the laughter!
well i'm not sure but woman kicking that guy really on the floor was very amusing
i can't believe you thought that was funny! people getting beaten = not funny (unless jackass...) would you have found it funny if the sexes had of been reversed?
