Ugly Betty, which has been very well advertised and publicised by Channel 4, has been on air since Friday 5th January, making it the new Comedy for Friday Nights, given the 9.30pm slot. But since CBB5 ended, it was given the 9pm slot, so this could be a strategy to improve Ugly Betty's ratings. But let's see how this US Hit sitcom is doing on Channel 4 in the UK:
Friday 5th January - Pilot (9.30pm-10.30pm) Ratings: 4.5 million
Friday 12th January - The Box and The Bunny (9.30-10.30pm) Ratings: 3.2 million
Friday 19th January - Queens For A Day (9.30pm-10.30pm) Ratings: 4.9 million
Friday 26th January - Fey's Sleigh Ride (9.30pm-10.30pm) Ratings: 3.8 million
Average So Far: 4.1 million
It is doing well so far, but I need to get yesterday's ratings to see its full progress...
Thats really good ch4 seems to get comedy rite unlike the rather hopless ITV, which incidently ratings are slipping for benidorm and bonkers, i only watch bonkers for the lovely oli chris but he's wasted in it.

Ugly Betty is still a good show, but ratings are making a new low of around 2 million recently, whihc could be due to Castaway and other porgrammes at 9.00pm:
Episode 1 - 4.5 million Episode 2 - 3.2 million Episode 3 - 4.9 million Episode 4 - 3.8 million Episode 5 - 3.1 million Episode 6 - 3.1 million Episode 7 - 2.9 million Episode 8 - 3.1 million Episode 9 - 2.7 million Episode 10 - 2.5 million
Even ratings have dropped by 3 million, it has still maintained a great fanbase, just like Friends. So maybe Ugly Betty deserves its own thread after all.
i agree i've been saying this all along! i think they should get rid of the invasion forum and put and ugly betty one in its place, i mean invasion has been axed in america its never coming back!!!!
