It has to be the legend that is Jason Byrne...and i'm amazed he hasn't been mentioned already. Also love Frankie Boyle, Russell Howard and Andrew Maxwell....oh and Jim Jeffries is a funny guy, filthy but funny.
I love Lee Evans and Peter Kay.The two can have me in stitches for ages.
Success happens when your on your own, failure happens in front of everyone. Live together, die alone. Scotland The Brave. Save The Cheerleader Save The World Peter Pitrelli is a sexy Hero.
It has to be Craig Campbell, closely followed by Phil Nichol. Third is our own Peter Kay.
Newer comedian who I saw the other night, who I thought was hilarious is Glen Maney.
Jimmy Carr, went right down in my estimations, when I was shown a copy of Nuts magazine by a comedian who was furious that Carr had claimed Patrick Monahan's trademark " My mum was Irish and my Dad was Iranian - I spent most of my youth in customs, as his own. Judging by the comedians views I met in Edinburgh, Mr. Carr is as popular as a paedophile at a school's sponsored silence.Karma ? he'll probably get an Channel 4 late night quiz show !
Best older comedian - Stand-Up - Tommy Cooper
If it's funny it's probably not on television. Why do these executives get wages ?
Peter Kay is brilliant but his material is all the same, his videos/dvds are preactically identical (still have 3 though) but Alan Carr is the best, he is hysterical. He has a tongue like a razorblade.
Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer ?
I love the weird ones, very interesting random stuff comes out of their mouths. I love WTF?!!!! moments in comedy, and Noel Fielding is full of that. He's very talented and unique.
I have to say the worst comedian is Sacha Baron Cohen, his 'comedy' is just full of obvious jokes that have got laughs time and time and time before. It's a bit boring really.

Dylan Moran for me too.....juuust the right amount of "silly", "sarcastic", "random" and "grumpy" without being OTT with it all.....because I think comedians who go over the top with one genre of humor ruin it.
I can't stand Lee Evans, he's way too much with the "silly". Jack Dee is way too much of the "grumpy/sarcastic" etc etc. I also hate comedians who think they're "shocking"....y'know those Russel Brand/Patrick Guiness type comedians who are like "hey I'm talking about sex or/and drugs...aren't I shocking and one of a kind"
