I recently bought Green Wing on DVD from Play.com. However, when I got to watching Disc 3, a fault occured on the disc, causing it to skip at about 32 minutes on episode 7. I returned the disc, then bought it again from Woolworths. Again it had a fault on it: Episode 7, 32 minutes. So again I returned it for a refund. (I haven't had a refund off Play yet). It's at the point where Alan is in the hospital chapel, as he is saying "I'll show you!". Does anyone else have this problem? I would like to hear from people. Thanks. I just want Green Wing!

You not the only one to have noticed this problem. I had also purchased a copy ( From my local Tesco Branch ) and found an error 32 minutes and 9 seconds into episode 7 where we saw the chappel scene. I returned it and then yesterday got copy two where the same problem is still there. I wondered if it was the whole batch of DVDs made or specific to one model of DVD player or maybe just a few DVDs made at one time. Im glad im not the only one to have noticed this problem.

Hello Graffnoir. I ended up buying FOUR copies of GW, all from different suppliers, Play.com, Woolworths and two from ASDA. All had fault on disc 3, so I reckon it's a pressing fault. I think what I'll do is wait a few month until more are pressed and see what that's like. There's a post in GW Forum talking about various faults on different discs. It seems other people have encountered other problems. It's a bit of a poor show if you ask me, cos it's not cheap either is it, to buy it?

WOW 4 copies. Im guessing its an error in the pressing/Copying/Manufactoring stage as there should never be this many mistakes. I found it odd as i recorded the series on DVD from the TV and the error wasnt in the broadcast so im guessing they must have a good copy somewhere. I was reading the forum and have also noticed many others with similar problems with the release but many having trouble with other disks which seemed fine to me. Maybe the first copy had many errors and then the fixed them to find even more errors and fixed them.....LOL Maybe by the time the release series 2 there will be a copy of Green Wing Series 1 with no errors at all :-). Yaeh, I've got that problem. Doesn't really matter, though. Cuz it still plays again afterwards. You miss like 2 seconds.

Has anyone noticed that the songs in the housewarming party in ep. 5 are differnt that wen they're on TV?

it could be bacause of skipping layers on the disc if they're dual layer discs

That programme makes no sense atall, its a waiste of the tax payers money.

I've not seen it but I can't really take somebodies word for it saying it's good, because there are some people out there who think Big Brother is good.
