Anyone else like Time Trumpet, i find it very funny. I like the idea of what celebrities are gonna do and be like in the future Ann Robinson, David Beckam, June Sarpong

You have three choices, run, hide or DIE!!!

Have you confessed?

It's very hit and miss - I don't really think the talking heads bits work (although I agree Sarpong is quite good) - but some sequences have been great.

Pretty disappointing effort from Iannucci.
His latest series on R4 was still up to par, so its not like he's lost it generally, but too much of this is just unfunny filler.
I like the celebs played by actors - Beckham, Jamie Oliver - Anne Robinson is especially good.
But why are his comedy mates on the show not aged up as well? Adam Buxton looks no older than his real age, and Richard Ayoade seems to age only about 5 years over the next 25 years.

I suppose I'm being a bit harsh, becouse, like the I.T. crowd, I expect far better from those involved.

Personally I thought the last R4 series was a bit of a dissapointment.. Just a round table discussion really, and not enough spark to it.

And who knows.. maybe in 30 years time there will be some really good anti age tech Wink

I liked it, it was far less consistent than The Day Today, for example. It was also pretty disjointed, but there were some great moments. The guy playing Tom Cruise was great, and I still chuckle thinking about 'Ross Kemp on Fire'.

time trumpet was wicked - but didn't get enough press!! Mark Watson's "Vernon Kay winter" was comedy genius.

I liked it! it was funny, and Iespecially liked the 'people who do what their names imply', which started off a bit weird but then was really funny! like Pierre - "well, that was just pissing in the wind, really."...

Hey, its the D-Fender!!!

i also saw time trumpet.

it was funny...and you know why??

it weas understated, they tried adamantly not to ham it up and make them "gags"

David Beckham's vagina and Tom Cruise at the end was hi-la-ri-ous!

so MsRomantic ...childspawn...when something is good i have no problem saying it.

and don;t you know, D-Fence is the best offence...

It was no Iannucci shows, which if you haven't got go and buy! Now i mean

Plus it was just basically 2004:The Stupid Version, which was good for an hour.
