I've been watching the brilliant Larry David in the hilarious CYE since it first came to Britain which was on BBC at first. It's since moved over to More 4 on a Monday night. We are now coming up to the end of series six and all of a sudden, it's not on next week???? Grand Designs is on instead!!!(does anyone really watch that?)After Monday's show finished, there was no mention of when it'll be on next!!! Surely More 4 hasn't just dropped the show before the series has finished? Somebody please let me know.
i spoke to the enquiers people on the phone today, and they told me that its been pushed back for two week, till 31st march. the lady didn't know the reason why thou
totally agree. Curb is preeeeeety preeeeety goooood and is just about the only decent thing on More4...actually it is only decent thing on here. Not only do More4 go and drop it but also then make it impossible to find out why. Have trawled round the website and the only mention of it is in the section written for them by the public.
Wasnt the last series also suddenly moved halfway through?
Here’s the latest on Curb Your Enthusiasm from the folks at More4:
“The latest series of Curb has been dropped from the More4 schedule for two weeks. It returns in its regular slot on Monday 31st March.
We had to drop it last night because More4 was committed to a supplementary documentary, On That Day, which was designed as a 'switch-over' and companion piece to Channel 4's Iraq-themed documentary Battle For Haditha.
Next Monday (Easter Monday), the programme is also absent as we have a non-standard schedule for the holiday.
More4 is committed to Curb Your Enthusiasm - we will continue with the remaining new episodes of the series in a fortnight. We are also picking up the next season for transmission on More4 early in 2009.”
Well thanks for letting me know. Woulda been nice if it was mentioned at the end of the last episode tho, woulda saved me the hassle of browsing through all more 4 listings and tv pages for the last week. But all cool-de-la now
