That's my favourite as well. It's always on when there's nothing on telly. My whole family love it and it's the number 1.

What about 'The Young Ones'? I was too young to see the first series, but I remember the excitement of being allowed to stay up and watch the second series. I didn't get that feeling from watching 'Only fools and horses', though it was great.

I'd have to agree that Only Fools And Horses is by far the funniest comedy not only of the 80s but of the last 25 years.

Cheers is defienetelt the best comedy of the eighties by far. Intelligent humour at it's best. I also love Only fools and Horses too.

UK: Ever Decreasing Circles, Only F & H, Blackadder (not the 1st series) USA: Married with Children, Cheers. As for The Young Ones, when I first saw it, I thought it was so brilliant that, when it was first repeated, I bought some video tapes so a mate of mine could record the whole series, then I bought a VHS so I could watch the tapes!!

Only Fools and Horses was consistently good for some years, although tapered off the last couple of series. Great writing and acting. Just the perfect combination of main and supporting actors. First class and run close only by Minder for my money.
