I suppose the only way of getting to see this, is actually buying the magazine, is it? The website doesn't seem to have anything about it. May be worth a trip to the Newsagent though by the sound of it. Or is Vogue to posh for the Newsagent?

Just briefly, before I re-read, I thought you'd got yourself a tardis.

Thanks poppy. It took me an age to register, but I finally saw the pics! Excellent. Real proof that an actual 2nd series has really been made! Wink

Wow! My copy has just been delivered. Being named Vogue's best TV show has to beat the BCA hands down. And what a wonderful colour spread of (almost) everyone. I have to say all the men are looking *extremely* attractive - even Martin. I hope this fan base is upmarket enough for you now, or will you be checking our labels? roq and pash will be fine, but I'm not sure my BHS cardis will pass muster.

Mind you, it puts Mac's 'Laura Ashley?' question in a new light, seeing his shirt.

Laura Ashley for sure. He looks deliciously severe there, doesn't he?

A bit late but back to veggies for a moment. I love beetroot in any form! So it could well be devils food. That cake sounds gorgeous - I'm going to have to hunt down a recipe (or visit France if that's quicker). And (Polish) borsch is lovely. I fell wonderfully healthy reading this! Although mushy peas are awful.

New year! Hoorah! But will it be at a decent time?

And now to the yahoo website...

I am registered on there as mysmoo2 because it wouldn't accept anything else. I haven't received it so perhaps it was someone else! Could you try again, it sounds interesting!

Jack, you have hit upon the surefire way to promote GW Series 2. We need to product-place it into the new Dr Who which should just precede it? (Help pash?) Daleks wearing top-milers, Tardis landing in the GW operating theatre, Dr Alan Statham as an intergalactic time lord, sort of thing. I'm sure you'll all have plenty of ideas...

Tamsin Greig made an appearance in the last series so maybe they've already started. Also, JRT's got a kind of Dr Who look about him - like a young Jon Pertwee.

Blimey, Cello, that's quite a tall order. I understand filming on Dr Who to be well advanced so it may be too late.. am trying to concoct some crazy scheme involving the tardis and going back to the pre-production stage, but that seems a bit complex.

In other news, it's just come to my attention that Tamsin has been nominated for "Best Television Comedy Actress" at the British Comedy Awards. She is, however, the sole GW representative.

May start a new thread on this as it's a Comedy forum, after all...

I see what you mean, Jack.

Apparently this British Comedy Awards stuff is not new news after all, so I may not bother with a new thread.

Just going back to Vogue for a second, I purchased my copy on Friday evening. Marvellous pic of all concerned. *Winks knowingly*

IG, my eyes are sealed.

Well, you know, not literally. Not like when you wake up some mornings and they're all gummed up.

Not that this happens to me.

Often.

A very nice picture all round. Though I have to say the repro's not the best (at least not in my copy. But then, I might just have a Friday afternoon job)

Just dropped in to rescue this thread, because I like this one.

NB Jim 'n' Jack, where are you? We're kind of vaguely re-grouping at the Blue Cat forum, if you're at all interested...

Hi there Jim, hope you had nice holidays. What's all this about a garden? It's sunny and the warm Spring days are here! You should be inside with all the curtains shut, posting rubbish on chat forums!

I officially can't cope with the GW frenzy, and have decamped to the music forums for the duration - where so far they're being remarkably tolerant of my spouting of ultra-pretentious claptrap about 1950s French novels I haven't read. They'll soon learn...
