Did anyone else watch this new sketch show? It was truly appalling. The only time I laughed was with relief when the credits rolled at the end.
The writing is excruciating. The lack of jokes is a crime in itself, but the dialogue itself is so clunky you'd think it was written by puppets.
Where some shows are saved by the performers, the opposite is true of this offering. Matt Berry and Rich Fulcher are wholly unlikable. All their characters seem to rely on either swearing or sneering or both. Horrible.
Oh, and the song about being a rapping daddy has to go down as one of the most misjudged pieces of 'comedy' in the history of television.

If you're a masochist then tune in. Otherwise give it a very wide berth.

Hmm, the only bit I laughed at was the Baby Rap.

Uh, actually after the fairly bad first impression, this series has grown on me. I appreciate the dark twisted humour.

Oh dear, some people should accept that not everyone has the same opinions as they do.

Yeah it freaked me out a bit at first but it's worth sticking with.

I completely love this programme. I missed the first two but what I have seen is really funny, but very sick and twisted. They are supposed to be hangmen, so the main characters should not be nice. It is freaky but you soon get used to it. I don't think it will ever get to BBC 2 though. I love the music, (look at my signature) Matt Berry is very talented. I love Rich Fulcher from The Mighty Boosh, if you have the DVD and have listened to the cast commentaries you know what to expect from him!
I do not let my kids watch it though!

It was incredibly weird, but I really liked it.
In My opinion, comedy characters should be unlikeable, like look at lenny henrys past comedy shows, characters are likeable, and they were rubbish.

I really enjoyed this series,yes it was a bit twisted,but hey at least it was a fresh new concept... i hope they go on to make another series... and yes... how cool was that theme tune!

i was really looking forward to this as i loved them both from the Mighty Boosh, but i was a bit disappointed with it. i thought it had some really funny moments but alot of it was just a bit uncomfortable. maybe it was just because in my eyes, nothing can be as good as the Boosh and they'll always be Bob Fossill and Dixon Bainbridge to me. i still love them though. and for some reason i find Matt Berry's voice really sexy.

I really can't make up my mind about this show. I love Boosh more than anything and I watched all of Darkplace (So I remember Matt Berry as Sanchez over Dixon Bainbridge). But I just can't get into this show properly. WhiSkey!! That's a good quote tho and the theme tunes good....
