I've never seen the original series with Jimmy Carr, and there are no clips of it on Youtube. (I wonder why?) I was wondering how much of a difference there was if there was a major one. I know there really wasn't much of a BB tie-in, but what type of show was the first series of the Friday Night Project.
i cant remember much on the first series on fnp. it didnt do that well and they was goin to axe it but jlc and alan took over and the rest is history as they say. lol did jimmy present it on his own or did he have another presenter not including the guest host?
The show was brilliant when Jimmy Carr hosted it... as long as you like sardonic sarcasm! Jimmy is a very sharp comic; Alan Carr is a pathetic host by comparison. After the first series the show lost its way, in the same way as Have I got News For You deteriorated after Angus Deaton left.

It wasn't so much J Carr that I had the problem with, it was his two crap co hosts. The guy with the beady eyes and the hair the colour of mud was painful to wtach. It is a different show now and a far better one for it.
Jimmy Carr was brilliant on it I think he is dead funny

There were two co presenters.. one was an IrIsh actress who can be seen on Rod Burdens show on bbc3 and some alternate guy, so many of these types, name escapes me. Love carr, very funny and unIque talent.
