Numberwang is the funniest thing on TV right now.
Said that guy over there

I think I have just won Numberwang.
HOWEVER, that's the only funny sketch- the others are laboured and are copying LB's repetitive style- LB's funnier. The sketches go on for too long- annoying when you know they will appear again - even in the same episode. Shame, they're good comedy actors. Loved Smoking Room. I think the show also suffers from being so close to Extras etc

i dont think its atall like little britain, even reoccuring characters dont really have catch phrases, or a repetitve nature. And if anything being that close to extras will definately benefit it, and beong between extras and MTW, will be a winning formula. Plus add the fact that its actually good, and bbc have got thier best sketch show since fist of fun.
---------------------------- oh look rocks!

Im the opposite Im not keen on sir digby chicken but absolutely love the snooker commentators - the one where they fancied chris leicester was so funny - cant wait to see them at the end of this month

Last week was funny, but last night was complete and utter pants ! come back tittybang bang all is forgiven !
If it's funny it's probably not on television. Why do these executives get wages ?

I thought last nights show was a very workmanlike effort - but they were trying very hard to be funny, and that did put me off a tad. As opposed to Ricky Gervais in Extras who was effortless last night. Fx
Spare a thought this year, and remember: JUNKMALES aren't just for Christmas...

Last night's episode was cheap. I had to pay a fiver when I jumped off a cliff. On the whole it is very amusing. Now I know.
We're all here coz we're not all there

very hit-and-miss.
worth it for the occasional brilliance- the massive yacht sketch, green clarinet, pin and chip/fish and cushion.
Numberwang is too similar to Adam & joe's "quizzlestick" (overcomplicated gameshow)

That Massive Yacht sketch was quite surreal and has stuck in my mind! Loved the suits! Fx

the dry cleaning sketch was just brilliant

More laughs than Little britain or any other recent sketch show could produce.

Little britain was just crude rubbish. Walliams lacks any talent at all.
this week's Mitchell & Webb- the garden centre savages, the fridge door/affairs/having a baby sketch -brilliant.
the german version of Numberwang made me laugh even though the idea's been done so many times before- The fast Show's Chanel9 versions of Question of sport and the National lottery, Harry hill show doing versions for export (eg. Badger parade becoming a racoon parade for the US) , Smashie & Nicie's dutch equivalents...
Das ist Numberwang!

This is a great sketch show, what else comes close from the last year or two? Not much. And to the person who said its like Little Britain, what in the what?!?!? Lots of good stuff, no, it doesnt all hit the mark, but no sketch show ever is full to the brim with material that makes you laugh, but the really good ones are always of a consistently high standard. Agree that the snooker commentators seemed to work better on radio, loved them on there but seem to fall a little flat on TV. Loved the one in the last episode about a new toothbrush, 'yes, I think we can get people to brush their tongues . . .'

Its a bit Hit and Miss but i think thats what makes it succesful.
My favouarte sketches are the Sir digby chicken ceaeser one and Numberwang. The laugh track annoys me though,it seems a bit dated and unneccesarry.

Hey, its the D-Fender
i agree with ...that guy...i thought it was crap..but then found myself laughing at NumberWang (i even laughed when i typed it) they have a dry and abstract sense of humour that i respond to... the more slapstick stuff ( the kid in the raft kinda stoof and the dog gag) isn;t really my cup of tea..but hey cumbria needs to laugh too.
plus anyone who goes on Johnny Ross Show and reveals what a tosspot he is is alright in my book...thats why i lurve Terry Wogan.. " noone likes you, you know?" classic
------ "i am family, i;m having sex with the cousin!"

I have to say, that all in all, I was pleased with this show. I hope that it's back for a second series. In my opinion M&W are Britains finest double act at the moment, Punt and Dennis a close second.

Sir Digby Chicken-Ceaser was the higlight of the series, with Numberwang, the SS officers and Angel Summoner & The BMX Bandit close behind.
There was definitely some fat to be trimmed though.

I love this show - Angel summoner and BMx bandit are the best! Though I love the heroin addicts christmas - that face the gran makes!
