After Armando Iannuci's political comedy satire got the better of programmes such as Ricky Gervais' Extra's at last nights British Comedy Awards, I'm sure it has left terrestrial viewers anxious to see the series.

The good news is that it begins on 2nd January 2006 on BBC2, so don't miss it.
