You hear they gave him stylish man of the year award?! Stylish!? Guess the 'attacked by a dressing up box' look is the 'in' thing at the minute then??!
He's outrageous-there's no-one else like him on tv (thank god!) but one of a kind's always special. Plus he says a lot of things most people would never dare to say.
Yeah, really i can see why. He's rude, creepy, overconfident and slimy. His hair is disgusting. His skin-tight trousers are just plain scary. He's unbelievably pale(how emo!). What's not to like?
I saw [I]An Evening of Standup with Ricky Gervais[/I} earlier in the year and Russell Brand was compere. And he was pretty good at it - really funny.
I had never been a great fan of him before then, but have warmed to him since. And other than the fact he talks over his guests quite a bit, I think he's a fairly good host and sharp with it.
Wouldn't say he was a favourite or anything, though.
As I have only seen him on the formulaic BBBM it is difficult to judge. However, he is quick thinking and therefore it bodes well.
I think the venomous hatred of the Brand by Apeth could be fueled by the fact that
a) the Brand stole his girl friend b) apeth has never had a girlfriend c) apeth is madly in love with the Brand, but the Brand doesn't play for the other side

I've liked the Brand ever since the dance floor chart links he used to do for MTV back in the day. Apparently his Edinburgh show was well recieved and his R6 show has a keen following, so I can only put daft apeth's poll with no positive option down to jealousy - the swine!!
