just watched this and i thought it was quite funny - but it could have been better. to be honest i expected more from ben stiller..

i thought the film was funny whilst i was watchin it but now wen i think back i don't think it was that good!

Thought this film was really funny, loved Ben Stiller in it, so silly yet really funny, it cheered me up.

Watched this film the other night, yes mildly funny in places. If someone is trying to pick up on the angle then imagine Karate Kid style and turn this into Dodgeball. A game I did play at school, this being the main motivation to watch it.

Don't expect anything mentally taxing, just sit back and watch if you want a light chuckle?

Is Ben Stiller really that short?
Did they really do that with the big cheerleader?

My 6 year old laughed louder, and I felt quite safe showing him this, the swearing was very minimal if any.

I enjoyed this film. Not as funny as i thought but i still got enough laughs out of it. I agree, Stiller could have done more but its good to see he is in good form. I just wished he would explore other character types, because he seem to do the same characters - either a variation of that Bloke from "somthing about Mary" or Zoolander. BTW that Gym bloke Stiller plays talks like Zoolander.

All in all a decent and enjoyable film to watch. Hell i could watch this with my mother.

Laughed out loud all the way through Dodgeball. I thought Rip Torn was very funny. Hadn't liked Vince Vaughn much before but thought he was great.

A disappointment for me this one.
The spanner-throwing was hilarious but the rest was just as I had expected (yawn).

Dodgeball was my fave film of last year. The characters are all so...quirky in their own way its so good.

This film really made me laugh, which surprised me cause I thought it would be your average mediocre hollywood comedy.

I especially liked the 'romance' with the monobrow east german girl on Ben Stiller's team.

the film is so quotable:

'your as bout as much use as a cock flavoured lollipop'

'if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball'

Vince Vaughn is the funniest guy in film at the moment.

The director's commentary was staged, mixture of script and improv, I hear.

Same kind of deal with the Anchorman commentary.

All films should have fake commentaries like these! Especially harrowing melodramas.

i didnt really like it that much, but that said It had its moments.
over all id give it 2/5 not bad

Heh heh the old style instruction video in it was hilarious! "When you pick teams in gym, pick the bigger stronger boy so you can take it out on the weaker puny boys, like Winstion here"

I thought the same the first time I watched it. but i watched it again and loved it. i missed many of the hilarious quotes:

"Joanie loves Cotchi!"
"we can get really FREAKY naughty"
and the whole viper dance. dud du HISS

havent seen it but if it has ben stiller in it, it must be worth the watch
