Brilliant documentary with a wide age range, four years upwards. Beautifully photographed, moving, and funny. Maybe not for the cynical though!

i was forced to see this with school, and i tought it was quite boring! the baby penguins were sweet, and it was kinda sad when some of them died, but i'm not really into documentary style films.

i heard it was boring this film but quite good.
which one should i believe in???

It was okay. I'm just a bit confused how this documentary was at the cinemas and was classed as a film. It's weird.

n then they all ganged up on her n stuff....human qualities r not solely 4 humans only ...there is definately sentience there ...


definately made me think of wat we r doin 2 our wildlife n the trials n tribulations that penguins had 2 go thro every time...makes u think like...

tbh tho this isa rip of of david attenboroughs life in the freezer definately similarities wit some of the wideshots n photography tbh ...attenborough is the man!!

I thought this film was a bit disappointing, I expected more tear jerker moments, but they just weren't there for me. I cry at Attenborough documentaries all the time, so it's not like I was watching something that I'm not used to.
I sat down and watched it with a friend and we while we both enjoyed it we felt a little let down with the story.

However, this was the start of the penguin craze, Happy Feet, Surf's Up and the rest that will follow.
Popularising penguins!
