Copyshop directed by Virgil Widrich is a gem of a film - a wonderful film.
The film is fun in terms of its theme/content - the evolution of the photocopied character over the course of the film, but it is a compelling viewing, where the music and the evolution of the photocopied character draws the viewer in to this completely impossible and fabricated world.
The image as a composite image and the break through into the image - the mechanism of image making is art at its highest.
This film is really important viewing for anyone interested in experimental film and more importantly in those interested in the possibilities for the film image....
