This was at times a looking at your watch movie, but id did have some good comedy moments and spectacular special effects.
Ur backside feels like its been on a bike without seat padding.

I thought Keith Richards was hilarious and looked kinda cool! Definitely far too long though.

For me, none of them beat the first one. That was a movie in its own right, a classic

After walking out of the first on because of Mr Depp, it was with much trepadation I approached this third installment, but I took my son and some of his mates. Well all I can say is after suffering for an hour I still had time to go home have a bath, return and still have to wait 20 minutes for them to emerge blinking in to sunlight (well not exactly it was raining but you get the idea). At least I know I will never watch the second one.

I absoloutley agree. Nothing can beat the first one. I have the second one, and was very disappointed. Some bits were good, but still a thumbs down. I haven't seen the third one yet but I'm dreading it.

why dont they have more of a break between these sequels and let us wiat a while a bit like Indiana Jones.

I too was disappointed with the second film Jack sparrow was a bit tame and although the CGI was brilliant I never could believe the characters.
However in the third film I thought jack is back. The plot is back and I could actually feel for the CGI bad guys.

I am a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan but only for the first one.

That to me is the one and only. Second one, i enjoyed mainly for the fact that Davenport had a greater role in it and looked extremely delicious as a pirate.

But the 3rd one, still peeves me off. There are so many things wrong with it, it's hard to know where to begin. Needless to say, despite me having watched the 1st one countless of times. I have only seen the 3rd one twice.
