Think of an episode of Xena:Warrior Princess but without the irony. THE BOOK OF MORMON - THE MOVIE has the same budget,the same standard of special effects,the same wooden acting- lots of white anglo-saxon american people with thick american accents pretending to be middle eastern jews. The costumes are more like
something out of Xena too,with most of the young men walking about bare chested in order to show off their pumped up pec's.
What shocked me most of all,however,was the
movies blatant racist propoganda against
Native American peoples,who,we are shown,were descended from the wicked brothers of Nephi that turned away from god and so transformed into dark-skinned,'animal-like' savages with painted faces.
