I think Veggieburger is alluding to the fact that most people believe Bex should have been removed for destroying property of another HM and then telling same HM that she thought he was vile.

Maybe the 'padded cell' is Beccy's brain cell?

I don't think that there's anything wrong with gay men kissing on TV. How can you stop homophobia if homosexual kissing is considered inappropiate on TV? It's sending out the wrong message to billions of people.
Why are we being voyeurs of aggressive and threatening behaviour when on our streets young people are vying for pack mentality and dying...
I am a big BB fan and was about representation and observing group behaviour, relationships and tasks...now about class and culture clashes and getting paid stories on the back of controvesy than showcasing talent and a good career move... ..are the housemates getting the experience they wish for....or need therapy after Sadly the mix of characters this year making behind sofa moments....
erm, I dont think we can comment on the Zero tolerance on BB as it hasn't began yet has it????? We can comment on the lack of Zero tolerance if ya like.
Realize, Real eyes. yay, my boy got High level 5's in his SATS.

What would be good is is they came back with some answers to our grievances. We can moan and groan as much as we like but we will never get an explanation as to why and how they decide things - punishments etc. A short answer would be something.
Big Brother - what do you make of this year's 'zero tolerance' policy?
Zero tolerance is non-existant! They sit there with they're blankets and friend beside them. Getting people to bring them drink and food and just in the garden chatting. What kind of zero-tolerance is this? I can be doing that all day without feeling like I've been punished. They should make it tough in a room with a toilet and possibly a glass of water and nothing else. No contact with fellow housemates nothing.

We have a few front runners at the moment, including Big Brother (what do you make of this year's 'zero tolerance' policy?), Disarming Britain (important investigative journalism or a cynical media exercise?) and Hollyoaks/the recently pulled Heinz ad (is there anything wrong with showing two men kiss on TV?) but nothing is set in stone until a day or two before the show...
So, if you have a strong opinion about the programmes or issues we should be dealing with, we want to know! Please leave your comments below...
I regularly watch hollyoaks and I've notice that hollyoaks takes reality stories (common situations that happen in real life) and use them as a guideline to their story lines, so homophobia is very common and hollyoaks broadcasters are just being realistic - thats my view anyway.
I did not have a problem with the Heinz advert. I do have a problem with them pulling it off the screens though. If they made the advert they must have thought about the reaction before it was shown. They should have stuck with it. Any normal person would not have been offended by an innocent peck.
The TV Show is meant to be for the viewers to air their views about C4, right? So why, then, is the web producer wanting to turn it into more publicity for Big Brother, the one programme that puts Channel 4 to shame? It's as if C4 thinks any BB publicity is seen as good publicity, even when it's not - you've only got to remember how Channel 4 News gave FIFTEEN MINUTES to Emily's removal from the house last year, much of which was taken up with a live interview with C4's chief exec dropping less than subtle hints about when to watch Big Brother.
I think it would be a very good idea to bring up the definition of Zero Tolerance as the programme has far from lived up to any definition of the phrase I have ever come across.

strong opinions, i'm full of them.
Big brother, bad hm screening, no live feed (they lied when they said it would be back in summer), zezi on bblb, only people who like her are her employers, the public in the main cant stand her inept attempts at presenting, and zero tollerence is a joke, either do it or dont.
disarming britain, a well thought out series of programs (so far) but i cant help getting the feeling that it must be music to the bnp's ears to have so much coverage of almost exclusively black violence.
as jpcraigkeiron said there must also be a valid issue with the recent heinz decision to pull its advert because a few insignificant, intollerent so called christians (who cant show any christianity) complained, and the subsequent boycott of heinz products by a lot more than 202 people. homosexuality is a fact of life and unless it is shown that way the door is always open to the bigots and homophobes.
It looks to me like BB's zero tolerance policy has been nicely written into the show. So far the major villains have either been booted out by BB or voted out. Jen is on her way out the door and Becks will soon follow. All the people who are seen as 'bad examples to our youth' are being exposed on the show early and we've got the illusion that we and BB are working together to clean house.
The narrative says crime doesn't pay, and this is reflected in healthy viewing figures and a forum that's never been so united on a week to week basis.
So how come I feel we're being played like Jack Benny's fiddle?

The TV Show debating BB's zero tolerance policy? Please! Give me the debate on Disarming britain any day. If I want frivilous entertainment I watch BB. I want something meatier from The TV Show.

I can't believe that advert was withdrawn!
My kids have watched it, without batting an eye. I thought it was a funny advert and not in the least bit offensive!
