I think it was a mistake to move CDWM to the evening slot; it was perfect where it was. Countdown wouldn't work if it was on at prime time, and neither does CDWM. The so-called 'celebrity' episode of CDWM cheapened the show.

I agree with what you say about moving to the evening slot. So many good shows have been ruined when taken from a less prime time and so called lesser channel and moved to a prime time on the major channel. I feel the programme makers try too hard when it's on prime time and the whole intimacy and atmosphere around what made the programme a success is lost.

I used to enjoy Mel&Sue when they were on in the early afternoons and then it was ruined when moved to the evening slot.
