In answer to the question, I feel that there is possibly an over representation of "minorities" of every sort.
This is because of the manic drive of politicians, (particularly this NL lot), to insist in their PC way that our great country should be levelled down to some imaginary level of homogenity.
We have had the religious walking days of the North of England banned long ago for "Elf and safety" reasons, yet we regularly close off half of London for the Notting Hill carnival.
"Ethnicity" was encouraged when this was begun.
So yes, there are definitely a lot of ethnic minorities in TV.

Britain should definitely allow minorities to be represented,but this should not be at the expense of the majority population.
At the moment the only set of persons who have no protection from these PC discriminatory laws are white straight males!!!
