Does anyone know what pathetic reason there is for no new episodes in the US until 12th March. Last time it was the Superbowl, what's more important than DH????

They always do that with American tv, I remember them doing it with E.R and Friends, was so annoying cos on Irish tv we were only an episode America so ended up with a few weeks gap
Of the Americans shows I watch, Lost had a break last week and now a break for 3 weeks. The OC, Desperate Housewives, Prison Break & Veronica Mars are all on breaks, it's pathetic
Pommiechick, its because of a show called Dancing with the stars that is being shown on ABC at the mo. Its replaced DH for 3 weeks. The next epi is aired on March 12th.
I see that you already knew when it was next aired. Silly me! ABC are a nightmare for messing with shows. I was gutted when I found out I had to wait that long for the next epi! Anyway not long to wait now.
They took DH off last week for the Strictly come dancing final and this weeek its off for the Oscars, all channels in the US do this NOT just abc, they have a 24 episode show but the season runs or 37 weeks, to include breaks for Christmas/Thanksgiving/superbowl, etc, But every network, batr maybe the cable networks like hbo and showtime do exactly the same. Thats why they start the season in October and we inish airing the season a week after they do.
Yeah sorry it was the Dancing with the Stars final last Sunday and this Sunday its the Acadamy Awards then DH is back on the 12th. I never said it was just ABC that did this either.
So this is why they can command such high salaries LOL. i.e. they are on air for a start/finish period of approx 40 weeks, yet only feature in 23 weeks worth. Come on, who wants to see has-been stars on their arse on the ice, (who is the US version of Bonnie Langford)...ITS NOT FAIR!!!
