Mmm I wasn't expecting to love this one as much as I did but I like being surprised.
The Good
- Realistic tension between Julie and Mike. Mike has gone from on-off boyfriend to her mum to stepdad and I like that while Julie isn't be monstrous, her and Mike do have some trouble.
- Susan being mistaken for a stripper. With the way Teri's breats were popping out in this episode, I see why.
- Susan showing some trouble between pleasing Mike and Julie.
- Bree vs. Katherine. Knock her into next week, Bree.
- Gabrielle and Lynette. I love their friendship and Felicity and Eva really went for it with that scene.
- Gabrielle's father being mentioned. I like that we got something on her dad. Anything is more interesting than her main plot.
- Tom. He's being adorable in this episode even if he did slightly undermine Lynette.
- The fact that an argument over a lemon meringue didn't bore me to death. Whowould've thought it?
- Julie/Dylan. Hight time Julie had a mate and it's fun that she's goading Dylan into challenging Katherine.
The Slightly Bad
- Edie. Woman is like a freaking bunny boiler already. This season is doing her no favours.
- Gabrielle. Stop whining and dump Victor already. You have no obligation to stay with him so stop acting like you need Carlos to make a decision for you.
- Carlos. I'm beginning to lose respect for me. Just dump Edie already.
- Mike. If he thought that party was out there, then he's clearly never seen an episode of Skins.
- That party. Christ, talk about tame.
- Orson. Give him more to do.
- Adam. I find Nathan Fillion a bit wooden as Adam. Hopefully I won't feel that way when the Katherine mystery gets interesting.
Overall, another strong and engaging episode. 9/10.
